My RE's office doesn't monitor either one. Although, they did monitor progesterone during our FET cycle. Which ended up being a good thing since my levels were really low and we had to increase our PIO shot. Of course, that cycle ended up being a chemical pregnancy.
Apparently, they aren't as concerned about the progesterone during the IVF cycles because we still produce some due to our developing follicles. During the FET we obviously don't produce follicles and therefore risk the low progesterone. Good luck! Jennifer |

Yep, mine does monitor- half way through to check the prog and estrogen. Even if you are on supplements your body may not have enough or it may not be absorbed properly and may need alternatives. That is what they have told me-?? I don`t mind having that extra BT just to keep a check on me!
Wishing you all luck!! |

Mine doesn't monitor me. My last RE, whom I did my very first IVF with did monitor progesterone during the 2ww. Now, he didn't monitor ME because I never heard him say to come in for that. He must have told me while I was under anesthesia or something.

Yes. I had Estrogen & Progesterone checked during all of my 2ww's, with the exception of my 2 GS cycles.
If you're using suppositories instead of PIO, there's no point in checking your progesterone because the supps don't go into your bloodstream so if they were to check your levels, they wouldn't be accurate. PIO goes into your bloodstream so they can get an accurate read on your levels. Perhaps that has something to do with why they're not checking? ![]() Karen

Mine did...about halfway through. It was a good thing b/c my E2 levels had totally crashed and they had to put me on Estrace in addition to the estrogen patches that I was using. They checked it again two days later and it was better.
