What is the earliest day that anyone has tested positive with a hpt?

    Hi--

I was just curious what the earliest day was that anyone has seen a positive on a hpt? I tested this morning at 5dp3dt and it was negative. I know it is still early, but has anyone ever got a positive that soon?

the earliest I heard on the boards was 8dp transfer or ovulation...

I tested 7dp3dt and got the faintest line you needed a magnifying glass to see, 5days sounds early.

I only got my first positive at 7dp5dt! and even then it was the faintest of faint lines. I used the First response test, but I would recomend the cvs brand- the lines came in much darker on those tests.
    Good luck!

    7dp5dt...
is that 7 days after retrieval with a 5 day transfer?
or 7 days past a 5 day transfer (12 days after retrieval?)

I know how confusing it can be
Its 7 days past a 5 day transfer
forget about the retrieval date in these formulas because 5 day transfers mean 5 days after retrieval, and 3 day transfer means 3 days after retrieval
    does that make sense?

I tested at 5dp3dt and it was negative, but I was glad of that since I knew trigger was gone. I tested every morning and evening after that and got the faintest of faint positives on the night of 8dp3dt then every day after that it kept getting darker and faster until it was confirmed at 14dpt with the beta.

Thank you everyone for the replies

Hoosiergirl--- OMG--You sound just like me, I test every morning and evening, I started at 4dp3dt this time, last time I started at 3dp3dt. I was afraid I was the only one that went to that extreme! Now I know that I am not alone
So when you tested at 8dp3dt in the morning it was negative...then it was positive that night? That's interesting.
