Jenny, I just had to share this thought after I read your post. Another lady on another board put it exactly right, "IF tx is a lot of hurry up and wait!" Ain't it the truth?!

Jenny (jpoo)-Thank you so much for the welcome. I sure hope AF visits you soon. I hate the waiting game!!
I wanted to throw it out there that if anyone is having trouble with their PIO shots I have a tried and true method that I swear by. It is a bit lengthy and involved but well worth saving my behind from lots of pain and numbness. THe PIO killed my backside the first 2 IVFs so I did it this way for #3 and it worked great. No pain. No residual numbness after. No large bumps/knots at the injection sites. I self-inject but you could also use it if your partner is injecting for you. Here is the link to that method if you are interested. It is reply #24 on that thread.

Goooood Morrrning Poppie People!!!
ANGIEB : I'm a Poppie...your a Poppie and KL is a Poppie too ..Be a Poppie, Be Be a Poppie.. Sing it Ladies.. Be a Poppie, Be Be a Poppie!!
.....okay well its early Sunday morning..really early 5:26am..I am a tortured insomniac who is learning to except the fact that I will more than likely be up when everyone is else is sleeping so that said excuse the cheery song and Welcome to the Poppies! I am awlays a little hyper in the morning
Hey Baby Blue: Dh and I's mission this weekend has been all about tiles on a budget! We have needed tiles for a backsplash, tiles for a floor, ( although Bops, Dh is really intrigued by your Bamboo flooring and wants to know if its squares or planks or what...he thinks it sounds incredible, not something we have seen on the Eastcoast) and a future home project may be a walk in shower, so of course there will be more tiles..if there are people like us in Tennasee, your business must do wonderful!!
Steph: Camping in Northern Cali, sounds so nice. Are you on the coast?
So BPC are going well, day three no side effects yet which is saying alot for me, now if i could just find someone to clean the rest of the house and cook for my 10 adult, 4 adolescents, and 5 children guest party. Some arrive Thursday and the rest Friday, and the last of them leave on Monday. Secretly....I love it, I get to play Martha Stewart minus the embezzelment factor! lol plus what i lack in her talent I make up in coolness, I just hope it doesnt rain.
Here's hoping you ladies have a lovely week ! Suggestion: someone could open a Poppie week one thread next week, whoever is up first on Monday..this is your mission should you choose to except it.
Have fun Ladies!!Last edited by hopenheart; 07-16-2006 at 03:40 AM.

Hey all, just a quick post. DH and I are leaving for a much needed vacation today - we're going camping on the Oregon coast! It will be a very nice break before the insanity begins.
Have a great week!

Hi all - we're back from camping. We had a great weekend. Hopenheart - we're in Sacramento and camped in the Sierra's (not too far from Lake Tahoe). The lupron did just fine in the cooler. DP even took a picture of me injecting myself at our campsite - although I have forbidden her from sharing that picture with anyone else as I am squeezing my tummy to insert the needle (the lower fatty part) which makes it look rather lumpy. This whole journey seems so official now that I've started the lupron. Tonight is my last BCP!!! DP starts stims on 7/23 which will really make it official. Ohh, that reminds me, I need to update the calendar.
We're going out for sushi tonight. Hopefully I won't be able to eat it much longer!
I agree with hopenheart...someone should start a weekly thread (ie-August Poppies week of 7/17) since this one is getting so long (kind of like how the July girls do it). Whomever posts first tomorrow should do it...probably one of you east coast girls.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend.
Steph
