    Hey,

I'm just waiting on AF to come as well - So I can put myself on the calendar with all you wonderful ladies

Any of you who have done IVFs in the past start gaining weight AFTER the IVF?????????? If is like since my 2 week long AF after early m/c I have gained around 5 lbs and I have not changed anything about what I eat.

Anyway- Sounds like everyone is moving along so enjoy a weekend and take some time for yourself...go buy something-with some of the little money we have left over

RE just called and I won't be able to start Stims until AF arrives. If AF still hasn't arrived by Wednesday they will "go in" and check out things. Nurse mentioned that my levels were high so I was to wait on AF. (Nurse mentioned that if my E2 level was lower that I could start stims but of course the levels were up. Darn it.)

    Happy Friday Girls!

Jeepy - I gained about 5lbs after my m/c in May at 9w3d. It was probably all the ice cream I ate...comfort food diet. Now on the pill I'm starving all day long..all I want to do is eat. I'm so glad my last day of bcp's is Sunday. I sure hope lupron doesn't make you hungry.

As for me...I'm so excited to have started lupron last night. It's kind of weird the things we get excited for these days...nothing like injecting yourself with a drug that's going to make you peri-menopausal.

We're going camping this weekend - we already had it planned before the crazy change in protocol and schedules. I'm just going to take my lupron with us and keep it in the cooler (car camping). We'll be at about 8,500 ft. elevation so even during the day it really doesn't get past 70 degrees. I'll check in you all on Sunday. Have a great weekend!

    I wanna be a POPPY!!

Hi Ladies!! I want to be an AUGUST POPPY!!

Now that AF is here I'm starting my LAST IVF CYCLE (#3) and we're doing a Microdose Lupron cycle. This is new to me, so I REALLY could use some advice on what to expect.

I'm going in for my 1st ultrasound and bloodwork on July 26th and then I'll be starting stims on the 28th.

My estimated ER - Aug 15th
My estimated ET - Aug 20th (5 day transfer anticipated)

During my last 2 IVF cycles, we transferred 2 "perfect" blasts with AH. I asked my RE about doing 3 but he said that since the blasts looked so god and that the chances of implantation were high, he wouldn't let me do 3. So when we got a BFN, I wanted to tell him I TOLD YOU SO! So this time, he's letting us do 3. I figure since it's our last shot, we might as well go for broke! But every now and then I get CHICKEN thinking about what if ALL THREE take?? A singleton is great. Twins are okay too. But TRIPLETS??? YIKES!!

    Anyone else going for 3?

The only way I better gain weight after an IVF is if I get a BFP! Otherwise, I will be pissed!!!

I didn't really gain weight during my IVF cycle, but I did after. I think it was all due to indulging in wine, cheese, comfort foods, sugar, etc. Anything to take that sting of the BFN away! It's all under control now since I'm going to Hawaii next week and the bikini is heavy on my mind. I'm looking forward to my trip, but I'm really excited about coming back since we see RE the day after we return. I'm hoping AF will be arriving then and we can get going on round #2!

DSTAngie -- we had three blasts transferred. Two were perfect and the third was ok. We talked to the RE a long time about it. He said that they usually do 2, but since I'm 37, that it would not hurt to go for three.

Have a great weekend poppies!! I'll check in on you when I get back in 2 weeks. I have a quick work trip right before we leave for Hawaii.

Good luck to those who started injections!!

    Hello gorgeous poppies...

I am glad it is Friday... and remodeler ladies out there. I remodel for a living. I have a tile shop and we are constantly from one project to the other. I understand your pain

Well, it seems like we can only attend the weddings in Istanbul then. I am charting my cycle and ovulation is nowhere to be seen. I usually ovulate on day 15 and today is day 15 and the OPK says "NO WAY"... I am usually 3-6 days late on stressful months. So we will see... I am thinking somewhere in between July 29-July31st AF should come, if and if I can ovulate one of these days. I decided to chart so that I wouldn't go nuts waiting for AF but it seems even charting didn't help...

Just got back from acupuncture treatment. Needles left and right... I start Lupron next week and have to learn how to inject myself from a nurse friend. Since I am doing this out of the country.

Have a great weekend ladies. Try to relax...

Good morning ladies...welcome Kim and everyone else who is new to the gigantic group!

I keep feeling like AF is going to start soon...and then it doesn't. Yesterday was 4wpd&c...the last m/c it tooks 5w to show. I keep hoping that it will start earlier than that. It's frustrating not to know when we are going to be able to start! Plus I have an entire cycle to go through for testing before I even start stims. Ugh ugh ugh.

It's always waiting waiting waiting...then a flurry of action...then waiting waiting waiting. lol...we all must have the patience of saints!
