    silly question

I think I know the answer to this but thought I would ask anyway...

It is NOT safe to go tanning during the 2ww is it? I imagine not, but just wondering if anyone knew?

Marie Carla-I don't know the answer whether it is safe or not, but I have a friend who is 7 months and she's been going for at least the last 2. Her ob/gyn told her it was okay and the place where she tans just made her sign a form saying she was pregnant and chose to tan anyway...I've wondered myself if it is safe.

    Hi Carla,

I agree with Jenny... You've put in so much to get to this point, why take a chance with tanning? I would hold off on the tanning at this point!

I felt the same way about hair dye... I've got a huge grey streak on the top of my head, but I figure I'd rather be pregnant with grey hair then not pregnant with perfect hair!

Ditto to Jenny and Holly! It's never cool to tan...in the 2ww or not! Pale IS in. Just ask any dermatologist!

    Hey Marie,
I just wanted you to know, I asked my RE and he said, no.
I have tanned once or twice and I enjoyed it.
I swear it is a wonderful mood elevator...but alas, he said no.
I didn't press him for a reason, but I have read that tanning was not good because of the super duper heating up, that is not good!

Good luck, let us know as soon as the first beta is in!
    Hugs!
