hpt negative 10dp3dt any hope? beta on Tuesday (27th June)

The title says it all. This is my 3rd ivf attempt. 2 7 cell grade B embryos.
little bit of spotting (very very tiny on the toilet paper) on 8dp3dt/9dp3dt. Negative hpt today (10dp3dt). I am on PIO and suppositories.
Friends, how is your experience. 10dp3dt negative hpt means, it is not working?
thanks a lot for your input

I am the same as you 10dp3dt with beta on Tuesday 6/27 (first IVF). No spotting yet but day 10 is when it has started for me with previous IUI's. I'm afraid to go to the restroom. I too POAS but on day 8 and 9. I have not retested. Decided to wait and see if I make it to beta. I'm hoping that our testing is just too early. I have been reading some getting +hpt at 8 and 9 days. Makes me nervous.

Lets keep our hopes up. It's not over yet. I used the Answer test at 8 and 9 days. I don't have anymore tests so I can't test today unless I go to get another test. I will try not to go. I'm off for the summer, so if no AF signs today I will go in to my office tomorrow and do a little work to keep my mind off things. If I make it to beta Tuesday, my RE's office will give you results withing 25 minutes as they have their own lab.

    Ladies, ladies, ladies!!

The docs say not to do those hpt's for a reason (even though we all want to do it!) They are just not accurate this early. Every time I have been pg, they show negative until well after my blood betas come back. Don't get yourselves all worked up over nothing. And yes, I used First Response also. On the reverse side, I read a very sad post recently from someone who got a positive out of one of the HPT's and she wasn't actually pregnant. She was so crushed when her beta came back. It was her HCG trigger shot that was making the HPT read positively and she assumed she was pregnant and started telling everyone. How awful for her!

I know the 2ww is so hard, but try not to get down based upon what an HPT says. The first time I got a negative and actually stopped my PIO shots and when I did my blood draw and got the call from the nurse telling me I was pg, I wanted to kill myself for not taking my shots - and my husband wanted to kill me for ruining our weekend and being depressed!

It is so hard, but try to stay positive. Even spotting is not a negative sign. It can indicate implantation. Good luck to you guys on your betas.

    Ruth

    heythere,

I wanted to jump in and tell you to keep thinking good thoughts. I'm 10dp3dt today, too. I have yet to POAS. I'm afraid and today I'm having a pretty negative day. My beta is on Tuesday, 6/27. I'm not sure what the rest of today or tomorrow will bring...maybe I will break down and test. I've seen lots of great news on this board this month and I hope that the several of us that are having betas in the next few days will be able to add to the excitement.

Also, as someone else said, spotting could be a good sign. Several folks I know who became pregnant spotted a few days before their betas.

    Hope this helps.

vega i can't wait until tomorrow..

we both are almost same. But from the posting various site, i didn't see any negative on 10dp3dt becomes positive on Beta on 12dp3dt. That scares me.
I am trying to be hopeful. But past experiences in the bulletien boards makes me scare.
No other go. Wait for beta and go to next step.
I keep crying. how long i can cry.. we have to get back to work.. smile laugh.. eat.. survive.. frustrating..

Beta Thurs at 12dp3dt. Have not POAS again after testing at 8 and 9 days with bfn. This is tough.

heythere- you may not have had enough hcg in your system that may show up on your beta. I wish you well.
