Hysteroscopy while cycling??

I知 coming off a failed FET cycle. My RE wants me to have a hysteroscopy this month and then resume with a fresh cycle next month. I just started the BCP so I assumed I would get the hysteroscopy done some time in the next 2 weeks and start stimming in early July. However I spoke to my RE敗 admin and the first available appt for my hysteroscopy is July 5th! I知 so bummed! Does this mean I値l have to wait out another whole cycle before I can start stimming or is possible to start stimming during the same month that I get the hysteroscopy???? I haven稚 had a chance to discuss my RE and I知 freaking myself out worrying about it. Thanks!

No you wouldn't want to mess with the uterus during a cycle. Unfortunately I think you are going to have to sit out a cycle.

The found a polyp in me (during the mock embryo transfer) the day before I was to stop my birth control pills and start the Lupron. I ended up being on the birth control pill for 3 more days and starting Lupron a few days later and they did the hysteroscopy to remove the polyp a few days after they found it.

So I had my hysteroscopy on approximately April 20, had the retrieval on May 11, transfer on May 14 and got my BFP 2 weeks later and am now pregnant. So yes, it is very possible! Hysteroscopies are not very invasive, necessarily. It all depends how much work they need to do once they enter you with the hysteroscope. In my case, they just needed to easily shave off a polyp! Good luck! Jann

Jann,
She was supposed to start stims around the same time as the hysteroscopy from what I understand? If your still on BCP and just starting your lupron that's two weeks at least before you start stims and a bit of a different situation. I could have mis-inderstood though.
