Borderline Embie ques

Hi ladies,

I recently did my first IVF cycle, and transfered two blasts a couple days ago. We only ended up with just one extra embryo which met the criteria for freezing, and it's quality is "average" or "borderline." The embryologist told me I had to decide today whether or not to freeze it. There is a flat fee for one year freezing, so if you have 1 or 20 embies to freeze, it's the same price!

We decided to freeze it, since the chance of avoiding all those shots appeals to me! Though the embryologist did warn me that it may not survive the thaw. Did we make the right choice in going ahead and freezing it?

Thanks if you have some input

I'm thinking you probably did the right thing. The most you have to lose is a little money, and considering how expensive IVF is, it's probably just a drop in the bucket.
