Just a little history. Last cycle I had 11 follies and 7 eggs. My right ovary produced a large lead follicle that of course we lost and between the two ovaries I had quite a range in sizes so there were at least 3 immature at retrieval.
Today what we found is that the right ovary is not only shy, it is down right withdrawn. He couldn't find a single follicle - he tried, but nothing. My first u/s on Tuesday he "thought" he saw one but very small then said he couldn't really see the ovary but today.. nada. He said some may show by Monday (3rd ultrasound) but they would be way behind and no good (immature).
Now - the left ovary however is a little follie makin' momma!
On Tuesday he counted 6 and today he saw 10, maybe more he said! He actually said "Wow!" That's all I wanted to hear - the doc say "Wow!"
The best news is that they are all the same size, within 1mm of each other so we are hoping we actually get more eggs this time.
Doc was very happy, DH is very happy and I'm very happy.

We think there is something wrong with the right ovary. I get very bad stabbing pain on that side every month at ovulation. Back in the day I used to get huge grapefruit sized cysts over there, even when I was on depo provera. I could tell it wasn't doing anything this cycle because I've not been in pain. I think it has pooped out. I'll need to have that checked once this is all over.
Anyway... Monday 3rd ultrasound. Oh, the follies were around 12mm. My lining was "beautiful" TS 10.5
He is thinking Thursday for retrieval!
