Hi Ladies,
I know it must vary somewhat, but how long is an IVF cycle?
Also, when do they start an IVF cycle? Any specific cycle day?
Thank you!!
Suzy

I am on a "call with day 1" cycle, and started my birth control pills two days later when I went in for bloodwork. The cycle OFFICIALLY starts when you start your shots - Lupron in my case (and seemingly most cases). I started Lupron April 1st, and will have embryo transfer sometime between April 25-28th. Then it's two weeks till the beta. So, in my case, a month and a half for the cycle if you count the 2WW. Without the 2WW it's a perfect month (28 days in menstrual world). We have Male Factor, and my cycle is going perfectly - no delays no holdups, so I'd say mine is a "perfect" cycle in the eyes of "how long would it take if all goes right, and it's not FFI." Good luck with your first IVF! I'm in the same boat with you! ~Tara Ann STIMMIN AWAY!!!! |
