Starting Lurpon today...

I'm so anxious to get things going. I was told to take the shots b/t 6-8 pm. It's only 2pm........AHHHHHHHHH. It's going to be a long process. I'll have to remind myself that I was once anxious to get shots....I am sure once I start the IM shots, I won't be so excited!

I'm such a sissy! I kept staring at my "pinched inch" and then at the needle, at my stomach and then the needle. I chickened out and had hubby do it. The anticipation is the worst. I'll have to try it on my own tomorrow.

Tara,

How cool!?! So, this means that today is your first day, YAHOOOOOO! I noticed your login name "mathgeek", what do you do? I am a self-proclaimed "Dork", I teach English at an alternative educaiton high school. Cycle buddies with a fellow "geek"/"dork" (just kidding!). Let's hang in there for the next 6 weeks or so, then we can celebrate our BFP together! Rock on, sister!

Oh boy. I am doing the same thing. I haven't even been able to load the syringe. I am waiting for Dh to come home. Doubt if he will help me, but he can at least watch.

I don't know why I am like this all of a sudden about giving myself an injection. And I am stressing about where do I do it, do I refrigerate afterwards, do I rub, or not rub?

And the most important worry:Will I get headaches?

Isn't it funny how we once were afraid to get shots, but now we actually look forward to getting them?!!?

You'll get the hang of it & if you never do any of your shots, then so be it! At least every day & every shot gets you one step closer to making your baby dreams come true!!

Congratulations on getting started!!! Good luck!

Karen
