quick question

I am on day 5 of stims and I have u/s and b/w at 7:30 am. Any suggestions on what would be a good healthy breakfast before appt? The nurse did not say what not to eat. I am hoping for a good number of follies tomorrow, since the nurse increased my dosage to 2x a day. Thanks in advance!
Carla

Hey Carla-
I was never told what to eat. I usually didn't eat anything at all because the appointments were so early.

G/l tomorrow!

Carla,

I usually went in for my U/S and B/W very early too so I didn't eat, I waited until I got to work. Also, with me they often have difficulty seeing my ovaries, sometimes my bowels get in the way (fun, huh?) so I personally found it easier not to eat anything and keep everything clear! Of course, everyone's body is different, probably isn't a problem for most.

Good luck tomorrow, hope you get great news!
Jennifer

What you eat for breakfast doesn't matter other than if you're just wanting to eat something healthy.

I say eat what ever you're in the mood to eat! Good luck! I'll be watching for your update tomorrow!!!

Hey Carla,

You should always eat something if the blood draws make you feel queezy (I'm petite, and always had to put something in my stomach beforehand), but more importantly, try to drink lots of fluids. You won't need a full bladder during your u/s (like for transfer), but a partially full bladder will help the u/s tech see your follies better Also, more fluids in your system will help with your bloodflow, and make that blood draw go a bit easier!
