Missed period after failed IVF cycle

Hello guys,

I am late for 4-5 days means on 33rd day today of natural cycle. HPT and blood both negative.
When I called the nurse after blood test, she said, my test is normal and will be getting my period soon. What does she mean. I couldn't talk to her a lot yesterday as I was at work. How does she know my period will come? does progesterone level indicate something? means I did ovulate. Is it possible I will still pregnant? I did spotting very light on the tissue paper yesterday. then absolutely nothing. Please let me know what do you think. Previous cycle was IVF and got period before even the pregnancy testday.

I'm confused. Your last cycle was IVF--AF followed that cycle right? Then your next cycle was natural--your late--you did an hpt and beta and they are both negative right? It sounds like you probably do have to just play the waiting game a little while here. If you've been active during your last natural cycle, I guess some residual effects from the medications COULD have caused ovulation, resulting in pregnancy. MAYBE the test was a bit early. Dont be too overly optomistic. Believe me, I know it's hard. Just wait a little bit longer. If no AF, then I would retest using an hpt. If still negative, I would call my RE and ask for Provera to induce AF and just get out of this cycle so you can move on. That's always the hardest part---waiting!! Good luck. see i called the nurse i told her about this She asked me to come for blood test to test progesterone so that she said we can decide to bring AF using medication. But she called yesterday and told that, don't have to induce AF, it is on its way you will get soon. You are correct. After failed IVF cycle i got period before pregnancy test day. After that cycle natural cycle was this late for 3-4 days. blood pregnancy test negative. for 28 day cycle, 33rd day it should show on blood isn't it? Progesterone level would show whether AF is on it way?
