Hi,

I just got my beta-inhibin results back after a cancelled IVF cycle. For day 3 there were elevated --> 84!!! My FSH is always within range (6), and my E2 levels are on the low end of the range (198 <-- should be at least 200) .... They say this means that it will be harder to retrieve good quality eggs. From my readings it sounds like I'm in menopause at age 33! My 1st and only cycle started out great: great e2, great lining, 17 follies, 14 eggs, 11 mature, 10 fert'd, and 8 made it to day3, until the all fragmented and arrested. They were all low quality embies to start with.

I was really hoping that maybe it was just a bad cycle ... but perhaps my eggs are cooked!

Any info on beta inhibin would be greatly appreciated, as I can only find info for ovarian reserve or related to tumors (it is not a toooomer ... "Arnold Schwarzeniger" sp?).

Thanks all,

Liz
