I'm also sorry, Tania. I was so excited for you when you got your BFP on the first try. I think that makes it very likely that there will be another BFP again in your future, hopefully very soon. Please take care of yourself.

Thanks again ladies...
and yes Karen you are right about the knowing i can fall pregnant. there are also many other positives that came out of this cycle which make things a lot easier for us.....like our grade A, 8 cell embies, my positive reaction to the drugs & the endless support from our family, friends and work colleagues.
I am sure it will happen for us again sooner or later. I have come to the conclusion that Gods lesson for me is to have patience (which i never really had) and to know things dont come as easy as they always seem to have with everything else for me.

Oh Tania

I'm so sorry! The exact same thing happened to me in January this year.
It's heartwrencing, and sometimes we have to remember to breathe.
I was induced the day after I found out that my baby had died in utero, and thereafter went in for a D&C. The reason I was induced first, and not just taken in for a D&C was my RE felt that since my cervix was still tightly closed, a D&C would actually damage the neck of the womb, and endanger future pregancies.
So yes, it was horrendous going through all the labour pains, and know that nothing was going to come of it, but now when I think about it, I understand the reasoning behind it.
Love to you & your DH

Tania,
I'm so sorry - you are living our worst nightmare. This must be so difficult. Years ago I had a 13 wk m/c which was incomplete and required a d&c. If I had a choice, I would have done the d&c straight away.
It's good that you have the support of your friends and family. Take all the time you need to grieve your loss. Life will get better and you will get what you pray for.
