Hi,
I had my egg retrieval on 18 Jul and embryo transfer on 21 Jul with 3 6-8 cells embryos. I started to have this AF like cramps on 25 Jul (D4pt) and I called my gynae. He asked me to check the blood for oestrogen & progesterone to see whether I have enough support. Both results came back high enough. MY E2 Wwas around 6700pmol/L and PROS was 588pmol/L. He said it's fine and did not ask me to reduce the progesterone. I am currently on hcg injections every 3 days until 30 Jul and 400mg pessary twice daily.
My AF like cramp come and go. My questions are:
1. will high progesterone cause the cramp?
2. does it meam that my AF is coming?
I am getting more negative. My Pregnancy won't be due on 2 aug.
Lastly, may I ask that has anybody experience diarrhoea during this period of time? I started my diarrhoea the day after my egg retrieval and continues until now. Not too bad, it's not watery but loose.
Plese kindly advise.
Puikei

Hi Puikei,
I don't know if I am going to be much help here.
I just wanted to let you know that I have those cramps you are describing every month. I started getting them ever since we started ttc-ing. They start 4 days post ovulation and continue on and off until AF. I asked so many doctors and nobody has the answer. I don't think that those cramps mean that AF is coming but I am veeeery curious to know what it is...
Re: diarrhea. i don't know why you are getting it, but eating rice usually helps. It could be the effect of drugs. Good luck and please keep us posted if you get an answer about those weird cramps.

Hi nd,
My doctor could not answer my question about the cramp. He said it should not be as I had enough hormone. I guess it's all the hormones that we have injected made those funny feelings. However, i really hope that what sunnyMer described in her message is happening now in my womb. Thanks for your positive repsonse, SunnyMer!!!!
I dreamt last night that my AF was finally arrived whereas my hubby dreamt that I was BFP on next Tue. Guess who will win??? Update U next week
