I posted a few hours ago that everything was good and I was going to be starting Lupron. Well now I am scared. I just got off the phone with the clinic they got the results from my tests today and they need to see me on Thursday. They wouldn't explain why. They just said they needed to see me and that they didn't have a start date anymore??????? Is this common or does it mean they found something strange in my blood today. I don't even know what they were testing today it was just cycle monitoring!!!

I'm sorry I cannot help you. I have never heard of anything like that before. Perhaps you should leave a message for the RE himself instead of speaking with the nursing staff. Maybe he will tell you something before Thursday. It's not very nice of them to do that to you. Let us know what happens. I'll be thinking of you.

I agree .. call them back at once.. tell them you want to know whats going on.. how stressful is it.. to have to sit and wait like that.. I've never heard of that.. they can give a girl a heart attack like that..

Call them and get to the bottom of it.

I just want to add that if you cannot get anywhere or if you're too upset, ask your dh to call. My dh can usually be more effective than I can be when I'm upset about something.

That could be considered mental/emotional abuse! To make you wait until Thursday and not give you a reason??? I hate to be the one to say it but usually when they want to see you in person it's not a good thing. I hope in your case I'm wrong though. So they said NOT to do the Lupron today?? I don't know your dx but maybe...just maybe...could you possibly be pg?? I certainly hope that's the reason for all this. I don't know what it could be but they really need to get you in sooner to tell you what it is.

I agree - don't let them do this to you. They should never call to tell you to come in without giving you a reason. That's just plain mean and rude!

Call them back and demand a reason!

I wish that it was because I was pregnant but unfortunately that can not be the reason.

I was in on Thursday and they were waiting for me to ovulate. They told me today that I ovulated over the weekend and that everything was on track then the strange call. I did try to call back and get some information but they wouldn't tell me anything. The only day he can see me is Thursday so I have no choice but to wait. I am so confused I have no idea what it could possible be. All my other blood work was wonderful there were no issues. I am doing IVF only because I am donating my eggs, otherwise I could do IUI. I know that it is nothing to do with the IP's because they are still out of the country. I don't know how I will make it until thursday.

That is just cruel to call you and then make you wait until Thursday. I hope you can call tomorrow and try to get it through to them that you just can't "wait and see" when they made it seem like something might be wrong and then not tell you what it could be!
