The Non-Update Thread

This thread is for all of us who are in "limbo." I know there's an in-between board, but theree are some of us (at least, I HOPE I'm not the only one---no, wait, I DO hope I'm the only one) who are SUPPOSED to be cycling, but because our bodies or doctors or lives have dictated something else, we're just sitting on the edge. Sort of like the roller coaster stalled out at the top the hill, maybe?

I'm a procrastinating Firefly (July cycler). AF was supposed to arrive between July 8-12, and instead, I ovulated on July 13. Go figure!

So . . . I check the July update threads faithfully, and while I love cheering everyone on, I'm getting a little tired of NOT seeing the supply of follistim in my fridge being depleted. Part of me thinks I'm excited about this cycle, and part of me just wants to get it over with so we can start our paperchase for adopting.

So, if you're an "non-update" person, come join me in my "procrastinating!" Let's share our misery!

Hey. Im in limbo right now too. AF is supposed to come next week, then the day after that starts I have to have my FSH tested to see if I will be starting BCP's or not. If so then then I will take those and do stims in August. If my fsh comes back bad then I have to wait another month cuz if I just jump straight to stims this time around my boss will be out of town at retrieval and transfer so i cannot miss work. I would love to do it now if I had a choice but unfortunately as some of you may know work doesnt allow for that. Sucks actually and my boss is my brother in law to top it off..So, I know how you are feeling. Hang in there sweetie. I know how you feel. My doctor wants me to wait until two AFs pass, to give my body time to go back to normal after a mc, before I can start a cycle. Giving myself all the medication, going to appt after appt. is nothing compared to the WAIT! Oh well thanks for posting this thread. I can truly relate.

Penny & Jes, I'm sorry you're having to join me, but it's nice to not be "alone." Jes, I'm so sorry to hear of yourm/c. I've had three . . . it's tough.

Penny, working for BIL has to make things challenging at times! While I adore my BIL and my dh's BIL, I'm not so sure I'd want to WORK for them. So what day do you expect AF? We're thinking next Thursday for me, but with my body, that's really just a shot in the dark!

Karen, you're so sweet! I'm okay, just ready to get this show rolling!!!

Ha! When I saw "limbo" I thought of the dance/song and immediately thought "how low can you go?" and had to laugh, it does seem like we are at a low point just waiting.
As for me I will be doing a FET, goodness knows when, after having a chem pg last cycle. AF should be here Wednesday, and I go have a trial transfer Tuesday so maybe I'll find out more then. But so far my RE's office is like Fort Knox when it comes to giving out info about when I'll cycle!
Hopefully we'll all be cycling soon!

Tle....AF is supposed to come Thursday for me as well. Im sure she wont cuz I want her to but thats ok...Ive learned to never expect anything through this lovely IF crap. Until she comes all I can do is wait wait wait. Im trying to stay positive though cuz I believe that helps in the long run. Keep in touch!!
And as for my BIL..I love him a bunch but it makes taking time off harder sometimes cuz its just him and me that can do my job.

Hi all.... I am currently "stuck" as well... Was supposed to start stims at the end of June... NOPE to many big follies left from last neg cycle.. Was supposed to start stims on 7-19....NOPE a big ole cyst was sitting on my ovary Went in this morning (af yesterday) That dang cyst is still sitting there.. SOOOOOO (am waiting on RE call) but will probably have to begin Lupron (Never have used it 4 fresh and 1 fet).. A bit nervous about it.. but I will triumph because we HAVE to remain positive, right?

Anyway, I hope you ladies are able to get your "shows" on the road very soon.. Look forward to your updates. Take Care

oh girls... can I join you too? sniff sniff... I am in limbo too. Recovering from a chemical pgcy this last cycle from our first and most likely ONLY FET. SAD that our 3 embies did not make it so it puts me in limbo of when I can do a fresh cycle again.

cd 22 or 20, not sure.. spot confuses me and my cd's. LOL

I hope to call and get a consult in the next 2 weeks for the follow up to the chemical pgcy and then set up a NEW FRESH ivf cycle. I so hope we can do a late September or early October cycle, but we are pushing it for those dates. Yikes.


I hate seeing that there are so many of us in Limbo!


oops, gotta pay my membership dues for FT. I need my avatars and sig. LOL


Also trying to drop some weight while in LIMBO status. I gained some lbs on that dang lupron from the FET and all the Progesterone support I was on too.
