Hey all! I'm doing the Estrogen Priming weird Protocol
I went in to get the "all clear" on this my CD2. And it showed 8 antral follies on my right ovary and then she said there was a leftover on my left ovary that measured at 19. My re said this is okay, but have to check my blood levels. She called and they are fine and i started my stims.
Just wanted to see what you all thought. Does this mean I will have no more on my left? and what happens with this sized 19 one? I took 300 IU of Repronex this am and have the headache to prove itand Im to take 300IU of Gonal f this PM. I go in after 5 days of stims for antoher us/bw.
What do you girls think, anyone know anything about Antrol follies???
Thanks so much
Lynne

Lynne,
I don't really know much about antral follies since I never got that far in my own cycles, but I don't think that you'd not end up getting any more follies on the left.
I could be very wrong, but that almost doesn't make any sense to me for you to not get more on that side, KWIM?
It's usually slow on the weekends here, so don't worry, someone who knows what they're talking about will see this & help you out!!
Good luck!

I'm pretty sure they meant a cyst. A leftover follie would be a cyst from a previous cycle (especially at 19mm). They were checking to see if it was excreting hormones, which would affect the success of your ivf cycle. HTH
