if you suffered a chemical, how long did you wait to cycle with fresh ivf?

I am trying to figure out what to do next.. I know we need to wait at least 2 cycles... but should we then cycle right away with a Fresh IVF or should we take more than 2 cycles? I hate to wait... but I guess waiting until Fall would be better.. not so hot weather(99 here tomorrow) and less vacations to worry about at work.. I have to be there when co-worker is out on vacation like now.. I can skip out on a semester of school and focus on IVF.

what would you suggest?

First of all....I am very sorry you had to endure this. I think your first thought is jump right back in and go for it, but your body and emotional well being needs time to heal and you need to take a break before jumping into another round. Take the time to enjoy the vacations, realx, and try not to think about it. At least if you have a plan that your going to wait a bit and do it when things are a bit more settled, and your emotionally ready for it. That is just my 2 cents on the subject. It's summer, enjoy the pool, a few drinks and just chill for a while. I know the wait sucks, BUT, taking time for yourself is important too.

Your in my thoughts.

***babies mentioned***

I am so sorry about your chemical pg. My 1st IVF ended in a chemcial pg in July 2003. I couldn't stand the thought of waiting to do another IVF. So my RE gave me the go ahead to jump directly into the 2nd IVF cycle. My 1st IVF was in July and my 2nd one was in Sept (had to do the whole bcp, lupron, etc again for the 2nd IVF). I am glad we went ahead with it b/c my 2nd IVF was a (huge!) success and my triplets are now 13 mos old!
Best wishes to you.
