I think I may just be going crazy. I did my trigger last night and now I'm worried that I may ovulate before they go in for the retrieval tomorrow morning.
Is this possible? Has it ever happened?
I need to get this part over with so I can stop thinking about it!!

Melanie, I think that is a fear that we ALL have. Have you still been on the lupron while on stims?
In my three years here, I have known of just a couple where this happened to. In one case, one woman's doctor did not get to her in time - I mean, like hours later.
In my cycle three years ago, I got stuck in traffic (accident on freeway involving lifeflight) and that held me up for about an hour. The doctor got to me in time.
I know what you mean about this part being over...Stacie(37)

I remember worrying about that too, when I went through this process before. I know that they will tell me the exact time to inject the HCG, because the timing is so critical...don't worry yourself crazy over this.

I think you'll be fine, too. If you've been on Lupron and they told you the exact time to take your trigger, the timing should be right on target. Good luck !! Can't wait to hear how it goes!

Probably the one thing that everyone fears after taking that trigger ! The first IVF I was frantically worried, every twinge I thought was an O pain .... second time it was the same, still worried !
Hang in there, it's much more likely to be OK !!
Good luck

We all have the same fear.
In my case - as much as I love my RE - he has the tendency to be late for all appointments (almost 2 hours once!!).
Not only was I worried that my eggs might pop before they were retrieved, I was even more worried that my RE was going to turn up too late to do the procedure!!!!
As is was - he was 10 minutes late (which is early for him....) and I was all prepped and ready - things went fine.
It's a natural fear - but highly unlikely - and I believe as long as you took lupron (or some other supression), you will be just fine.
