the waiting is making me insane! (pg ment)

Hi! We tested positive and had strong BETA numbers April 27 and 29. Our next step is the u/s on May 18. The problem is.....I am dying of curiosity! Being a control freak, I would love to have some indication of how things are progressing BEFORE th 18th but am not sure if that's even possible. I feel p.g, but that doesn't alway mean what you want it to. Any suggestion on things to do to calm my nervous and let me know my little bean is OK? Yes, I know. I am being a spaz.

I know exactly how you feel! My dh and I got a positive beta on 21st and 23rd and they left me hanging until my first ultrasound on may 10th. I have been going nuts. I want b/w done everyday and to be told all the time I am pregnant. I even bought a hpt- dh rolled eyes and said you had to different blood tests done by our RE and you have to pee on a stick to be sure. I can see the hpt not the blood work. I have only 3 more days left.

All I can suggest is take it easy. Don't overdue it! I overdone it one day and had slight spotting. Can't say that caused it but my baby(s) are more important than anything that needs to be cleaned. Take that prenatal vitamin and eat right. And know you are doing all you can to keep your little bean safe in mommys tummy. Rub your belly and talk to your baby all the time. Enjoy the sore boobs, nausea, and discomfort!!

No you're being NORMAL With my first pg(dd) I was a CONTROL FREAK. Had weekly u/s due to bleeding and spotting and then gallstones. Needed constant reassurance. I actually had my u/s at 5 weeks but they saw only a sac because of spotting, but that was in the hospital. I KNOW how far off May 18 seems. I wish I knew of an answer for you.
