Geehz if its not one thing its another any advise would be welcomed-Amber

I never knew migranes until I was on Lupron. I ended up getting some Excedrin Migrane meds and kept taking them, spareingly, until close to transfer time. I'm dreading those horrible headaches again, but I know I took it safely for a short time and there were no adverse affects on DD. Actually, once the Lupron shots have stopped for a few days, the headaches should subside as well.

I'm on day 2 of a killer migraine after several weeks of Lupron. I just started stims today, and cut the dose by 50%, so hopefully it will get better (?). I try to stay really hydrated, which can help prevent them, but if I try to chase the pain, I just have to suffer with them. I'm allergic to aspirin and nsaid's, so not much else to do but ride them out... Hope your head feels better - you're not alone

Hi ladies,
I am so sorry for the pain you are going through from Lupron. Incidentally, how long after your first shot did the pain start? I started mine yesterday, albeit a small dose - 0.1cc until May 21st. I hope your headaches subside soon. It is hard to think that it's all for a great reason! My PIO injection sites from my March IVF cycle are still so tender I can't run...oh well!
Thanks for your input and be well,
Brandi

I've had headaches too but don't really know the primary cause - - is it the BCP I haven't taken in 5 years, the Lupron, or the absence of caffeine. I've never been a coffee drinker but would typically have 2 Pepsi's a day. I went to no caffeine when I started my Lupron a week ago. Certainly call the dr. to find out what you should/should not take to help. I pray it subsides very soon!

Gosh! I'm sorry to hear about your horrible migrane!
I've been on Lupron for 9 days now and I only experienced a slight ache for the first 2 days. Other than that -- nothing. I guess I'm lucky.
