Wow! tomorrow is a big day....

Hey guys, Well I go get my first shot of lupron tomorrow. I called RE's office today and talked to his nurse she goes ok just bring in your Lupron.I was like "Um I dont have any Lupron, we have not ordered any meds yet I dont even know what Amy is gonna be on. She tells me to hang on and she gets back on the phone and said she has some in the office. Thank God I was stressing a bit. So she goes ok we will see u tomorrow and she said they will go over meds w/ me and teach me how to give myself the Lupron shots. I have to give myself the shot tomorrow :: Holy Toledo this cycle is starting. It has felt a bit surreal to me it sure wont tomorrow. I will let yall know how tomorrow goes. I hate shots-Amber

Go Amber! The lupron shots won't be that bad I promise! I hate shots too, or at least I used to fear them, now it's nothin'.

Yea Amber! You'll do fine with the Lupron shots! They are the only ones that I can give myself.

Amber, the shots are nothing. And I am a W-I-M-P wimp. My suggestion - give the shots to yourself. It is SOOOO easy. I remember I was TERRIFIED for my first shot. I was even shaking all over. Then when I did my "dart-like" motion, I closed my eyes. I didn't feel anything and I thought, "Darn! I missed!" I opened my eyes, and the needle was all the way in the skin!

I used to sry over getting a flu shot. Seriously! Now, there's nothing to it!!

Oh Amber, starting the Lupron is the beginning! I am very happy for you and Amy. And don't worry about the shots - they are a piece of cake whether you give them to yourself in your tummy or your thigh. You'll see!

Good luck with your first one!!

Hugs,

Sirell
