anyone take "luveris"???

Hi all,

I just got my new protocol for attempt #3... I'm going to be taking BCP's for 18 days, then microdose Lupron, Gonal-F, and Luveris, which is a relatively new drug. Has anyone taken this before?

Also, they are doubling the dose of my Gonal-F (from 300 to 600 a day).

Any insight on this new Luveris drug? Hope I'm not a guinea pig!

Lisa

Lisa,

That is the same protocol that I used on my 2nd attempt which was successful. I was using Follistem and HCG. Other than the Gonal-F being so much more expensive than Follistem it was okay.

Personally I think a change in protocol is a good thing. Just shaking things up a bit can make all the difference.

I will be using Luveris this cycle also for the first time. I am actually looking forward to it as I am trying to get higher quality eggs. I do believe Luveris came on the market in Oct 2004.

Lisa,

Luveris is replacing Repronex just as Repronex replaced Pergonal. Hope that helps!

Thanks!

In everything I had read, I had never heard of it so I was a little nervous. Good to know I'm not the first! And its always nice to hear that someone with the same protocol had some success!!
