Question Looking for an RE in Ohio

Hello Everyone,

My husband and I are looking for an RE in Ohio. We have posted on the surrogacy page to get information about our journey. I am 28 years old and have had a hysterectomy due to cancer at age 5. Sirrell, a wonderful woman from the surrogacy BB, thought that someone on this BB may be able to help us with our search. I have looked on the CPC website and found 2 that interested me enough to research further. They are the Institute for Reproductive Health in Cincinnati and Ohio Reproductive Medicine in Columbus. If anyone has any advice or knowledge of these two or any other clinics that they would recommend to a couple just starting out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much.

Well, that answers my question about where in Ohio you are. You must be in the Southern part of the state. I live in Akron, and I go to the Cleveland Clinic in Beachwood...

Thanks for the reply. We are actually from Central Ohio. I only went with those two clinics because they had such a high percentage for success with 250 plus cycles. Are you happy with where you are? Any complaints? Thanks again.

Cleveland Clinic actually has the best success in the state. Dr. Goldfarb has about 650 cycles coming through each year. I haven't gotten pregnant yet, but I know A LOT of people who have.

Thank you. I went back and looked at the report and somehow missed the Cleveland Clinic the fist time around. Thank you and good luck.

Hi there!

I'm so glad to see that you came over to the BB to ask your question. I knew these wonderful ladies would be more than willing to share their knowledge. I hope with their help you are able to pick the right RE for you and get started on your journey.

Please let me know if I can help further!

I started off at the Cleveland Clinic but did not like how I was made to feel like a number. I switched to Dr. Nash (Dr. Moretuzzo is also a RE there) who is a part of Reproductive Gynecology Inc. in Akron. I absolutely love everyone in his office and how attentive he and his staff was to me and my concerns....plus I spent over $3,500 less than I would have w/Cleveland Clinic.

I would recommend Reproductive Gynecology to anyone!

Hi! I go to the Ohio Reproduction Medicine Center in Columbus right now. I use Dr. Grosskinsky and have been very happy with him. I've heard the other docs are wonderful there as well.

We are just starting our first IVF in May so I don't have any experience in that department to share yet (two IUI's). The general way the doctors and staff have treated us has been wonderful.

Good Luck!
