waiting, waiting, waiting

Here's why I am waiting...

M/C Jan 29th at 3 months. Wanting to do IVF again asap but need to start cycle and go on BCP for a month first. Have not gotten AF yet sooooo, I went for blood test and it shows I did ovulate recently. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks to see if by some crazy, insanely small miracle, we conceived on our own. If in 2 weeks I test negative AGAIN as I always do (was preg through IVF), then RE will induce AF and we can get the ball rolling.

Only by then, probably not because of a couple outside reasons.
I have to travel for a brother's wedding in May and I will not have IVF cycle completed. I have to go to my own brother's wedding! I cannot imagine how upset he would be if I missed it. And the second outside reason is my employer is leaning towards changing insurance carriers on May 1st. My RE does not take the new proposed insurance so I will have to start all over and find a new RE. I really hope my insurance stays the same. I like and trust my RE.

Wouldn't it just be nice if this waiting paid off and I don't have to think about IVF again? Any stats on natural conception after m/c for people with infertility?

I'm so sorry about your miscarriage. I wish that you didn't have to endure that pain.

I don't know what the odds of conceiving naturally in your situation, but I know that it can happen.

If your insurance does change, can you see about going COBRA to keep seeing your RE & then once you're pregnant you can switch to the new insurance?? Just a thought.

Karen
