spotting again?

Hi there. I feel like a pain continuing to post during my 2ww about little things. Anyway, Friday was 7dpt and I had a little (very little) brown spotting. The RE's office had said clearly this is common around a week after transfer and it doesn't mean either + or - for being pg. Yesterday I had a little (again, very little) brown spotting again, but it was gone so quickly I assumed it was "leftover" from Friday. This morning I woke up spotting -- still brown, but more than previous days.

What does this mean 10dpt? I have decided not to do any more hpts until the beta, but I'm nervous. I figure I'm not likely to get full AF while taking PIO, but what does slightly heavier spotting mean?

I hate the 2ww. I just can't get my mind to stop thinking about it...

First off, you're NOT a pain!!! You're someone dealing with the rollercoaster of IF, that's all!! We still love ya!! The spotting doesn't mean anything. Brown is old blood, & it's just working it's way out, that's all. The fact that there is more now than there was before doesn't mean anything. Now, if it were bright red, with clots, then I'd say that I might be worried. But even then, I've seen a few ladies bleed heavily & still end up with a baby in their arms 9 months later!!

Hang in there!! You've only got 4 more days!!!:stickyvib

I totally agree, you are not a pain!! It is totally okay to worry about every little bit of bleeding, cramping, twinge of pain, etc....it's what we do! The 2ww sucks and all we can do is worry!
Reference your spotting, let me tell you, it sounds perfectly okay to me! I spotted brown and pink until several days after my first BFP beta. It finally stopped completely about a week and a half ago. And I've heard a million other women on hear say the same thing! There are so many reasons why you could be spotting; implantation, vanishing twin, just old blood making its way out, etc.

So hang in there and good luck on your beta!

Angie

A lot of people spot during IVF cycles... it can happen. Try not to stress youself out over it at all possible, and if you need to talk more, we're here!

Oh wow, I know how nervous you are. Try to hang in there. Brown blood, like Karen said, is old blood, and truly nothing to worry about.

I have my fingers crossed for you!!!

I appreciate all your support. It felt like a relief to read your responses. I have been avoiding the boards mostly recently as my anxiety is pretty high about tomorrow's beta. Unable to resist the evil pee sticks, I had a negative hpt on Sunday, a slightly positive one on Monday, and a stronger positive yesterday (Wednesday). So I felt pretty good all day yesterday. I decided not to do more hpts and just wait for good news on Friday. (Besides, I was out of hpts...)

Today I woke up and my spotting is now RED as opposed to brown, and it was a bit heavier than the brown spotting I've had all week. Now I'm back in panic mode. I know, there have been instances of people thinking they're having AF and they're pg, but generally red spotting can't be a good thing, it seems to me. But if yesterday the hpt was stronger than Monday, it seems odd that suddenly this morning I'm losing my pg.

DH says I'm like a ping pong ball bouncing from one emotional extreme to another and I should just wait for the beta. The RE will probably tell me the same thing. Ugh, IF just stinks!

Hi there,

The fact that you got a +++++ means PG !!! and just to let you know. I bled like a stuck pig on both my pg's. If you have PAIN with the red bleeding, then I would worry.

I pray all is great. I just know it is.

++++++++++++++

Love

Michelle
