About LinkBacksI have had so many horrible headaches and moodiness post transfer. So bad I am up at night and can't sleep. Do you think it was from the estrace? maybe I am taking too much? How much do you have to take, and will I keep taking these shots as long as the progesterone? Thanks

I am on the vaginal cream (I didn't know that it came in different forms??) and I take 2 mg (I think it's mg's. It's to the #2 on the applicator). I used it 2x a day until I think after transfer and now I just use it at night. It didn't cause me headaches although it does say that on the label, not just in the side effects, so it could be the cause. I was (am still a little) very moody. Grouchy, quick to irritate and quick to anger. Hormones and drugs!

I took pills - 4mg per day (2 in am, 2 in pm), but never had any side effects.

Hi,
I was just directed to take 2 pills (1mg each) 3x per day plus I have the vivelle dot patches (2 changed every 3 days) on my belly and I am still shooting PIO. The clinic here doesn't tell me all the numbers and stuff like a lot of you guys know.
The headache is the worse. I wish I knew how to alleviate it.

I was on a lot of Estrogen during my last 2 cycles but never had any problems. Everyone is different though. I took 8mg's of Estrace/day. (1 2mg pill, 4 times a day, letting it dissolve under my tongue
) I also used Climara patches too. Perhaps it's got to do with the form of Estrogen you're using?? I would call your RE's office & ask if you can switch to pills and/or patches. LEt us know what you find out!!

I have been on Estrace 4mg twice a day for over a week now... no symptoms. I am increasing it to 3 times a day today... so we shall see...
I know the Estrace definately helped cure my severe nightly hot flashes I was having from the Loopy Lupron...
I will be adding the Progesterone Suppositories sometime next week... we shall see about that one too... hopefully no symptoms.AmyLeigh 41, DH 40
