    Smile E/t 02/21/05

We had our transfer today. Out of our 19 DE only 10 fert but, then when we got to transfer there was only 4 left. They said they looked liked they were a day behind but, looked ok. We decided to put 3 of the 4 back. The 1 left they said they would watch it but, didn't look like it would do much.

Has anyone ever had success with embies that look to be slow growers on a 5dt.

thanks for all of your help
    kelley

I don't have an answer for your embie question, but I'm sure there has been someone around here with success in that situation.

Kelley, good luck!! I'm in the process of DE cycle right now and should have ER next weekend. I'm totally stressed, but my coordinator said that 5dt's have a super positive result for pregnancy, so hold tight and good luck.

While I don't have personal experience with slow growing little ones, I have seen slow growers end up in a full term, healthy pregnancy!

Congratulations on the great transfer!!! Here's hoping your 2ww is fast & ends happily!! Remember, just say no to hpt's!!!

    Kelley,
I don't have experience with 5dt (we did 3dt) but I know I've read about people that have had positive experiences. Try to be positive and imagine them digging in for the long summers nap! I'll be thinking about you.

Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. Yes, karen staying away from the hpt will be the hardest thing to do. Again I will keep all of you informed as soon as I know anything,

    Thanks

    Kelley-
My 1st IVF was very similar numbers to yours --- Around 20 eggs, only two thirds fertilized, and by day3, the RE recommended transferring the top 4 (only 8 left at that point.) he said they were "slow" which freaked me out. Anyway, out of 4 slow ones, one took (DD now 2.5) and the other 4 left to grow, only one went to blast and was frozen. Also, my beta was low at first, (they said a late implantation) so my embies are just slow to grow and slow to snuggle in! DD is definitely NOT slow though

    Good Luck & :stickyvib

All the best to you Kelley. I hope those slower growers are just that, slow and mellow.
