Where to inject Lupron??

Last time I did IVF, I did the Lupron in my tummy, but this time they said to save that site for the stims, and do Lupron in the back of upper arm or "upper outer thigh"..... since I am doing them myself, (DH works odd hours) the arm site is out. So, does anyone know WHERE on "upper outer thigh?" My meds arrive in 2 days and I start Lupron on 2/20.... Yipeee!!!

p.s I know I could go to my clinic for a class, but I thought I'd get a faster response here. I also tried the "Using injectibles" board but it is pretty slow right now.

I always used to sit in a chair and place my hand about an inch from my knee on the side of the leg, and where my palm was is where I would give the shot. I never had any trouble with these and you shouldn't either.

I do all my shots in my tummy. However, for my 1st IVF I did do them in my upper outer thigh.

I always did the hand thing and any where in that area is good.
