Hi. I am sorry to read that your transfer was canceled. I hope that the FET is the answer for you next cycle.

I hate to be selfish but I am curious about your problem and am wondering if I messed up my IUI.

Why does it matter what your P4 is at? That's progesterone, right? I messed up and started my PIO shots 12 hours earlier than I should have. Does it affect implantation?

If this IUI doesn't work I hope that we are cycle buddies next time around!!!

When are you going to tell me who you are??

Hugs,

Jen.

Jen,
I hope Boo will answer this too as I know she is very knowledgable about this. As I understand it, the progesterone level prior to the LH surge or HCG trigger can cause the window of time that implantation can occur to shift. If the p4 is too high too early, the embryos can only successfully implant at a time that is too early and the uterus is past the prime implantation time by the time the embies are ready. Still, I do not know if external progesterone supplements would have a major impact on that.
I am also wanting to know if Boo could post some links to some of the studies about p4 and implantation as I am wondering if my p4 has also been too high too early.
I hope you will get your BFP this time. What did you decide about the IVIG? I am planning to do my next IVF without it and then if I get a BFP I will probably do one then. Good luck with the 2ww!
Suz
