Beta was good but downhill 2 days later

Hi Everyone! On Friday, Jan 28, 2005, I had good news. My beta test was 32. Today, Monday, Jan 31, 2005, my beta test was 10!!!

I am VERY VERY SAD. Not sure what to do now. We were so hopeful. We do have some frozen embryos left, but I am very discouraged. I don't what I did wrong? Is there something I could have done better?

Please give me some good news about frozen embryo transfers because that's our next option.

Thank you.

Fanci

Oh Fanci! I'm so sorry...there's nothing I can say other than its nothing you did. You didn't do anything wrong. These things are so hard to find reasons for. Do your grieving sweetie, and take a little time. Then when you're ready, gather yourself for the next step. I know lots of women on this board who were lucky with their frozen cycles. But for now, you do what you feel you need to do.

Many prayers to you and lots and lots of warm hugs.

I'm so sorry Fanci. It really isn't anything you did wrong. I read somewhere that this happens to somewhere between 50-80% of natural conceptions. Most women just never know because they aren't monitored the way are.

As for the frozen cycle -- I just did my first one and got a BFP, so your chances are excellent that one of your frozen embies will bring you a wonderful 9 mos pgcy!

Hi Fanci,
I am so sorry to hear this. There is nothing you could have done...it some times happens. Maybe it's just meant to be with one of your frozen embies. I'll be praying for you.

Check out the FET board success stories. Many women, including me, get pg with FET but not Fresh cycles. I hope that's the case for you!

Oh Fanci
You've done nothing wrong, there just must have been something wrong with your little one that it didn't stick around. I know that doesn't ease your pain right now, but you can be very successful with your upcoming FET. Hang in there!!! We're all here for you.

Karen
