Okay I caved. Of course now I wish I hadn't. I'm no better off.
I saw a faint line. The problem is that I'm wondering if I tested too soon. My beta is Tues 2/1. Today I'm 9dp3dt. The RE's nurse told me not to test because if it was - it could be too soon. If it was + the HCG my not have been out of my system. I did the Ovidrel shot 14 days ago. So now I don't know if I should believe.
I have had 2 chemical pg's in the last 2 yrs so of course I'm afraid if I am pg that it won't continue.
Also, I got up this morning around 4am & went to the bathroom. I had a bagel & a glass of milk for breakfast. Then, I did the FRED test.
What do you girls think??????
Thanks for the help,
Ale

I think you're going to join the October Due Date boards!!!
Usually it takes 1 day per 1,000 units of HCG to get out of your system. The trigger shots are generally 10,000 units, which would be 10 days. Personally I always got a BFN 7 days after the shot.
My RE did my beta on 9dp3dt with my DD (which was a week earlier than was scheduled, but I thought AF showed and made them draw). There was never any question that my ++ beta was the trigger.
While it's still early, I think things look good!
OH, and after getting some funky FRED results, I tried Answer brand and got a much clearer result!marya

Ale,
It's so hard to say...although I do think by now the Ovidrel would be out of your system after 14 days.
I think a faint line is worse than no line b/c with no line you can always say - "I tested too early!" and move on.
Try to wait until Tuesday for beta. 9dp3dt is a little early, but a faint line is optimistic. (I do have to confess that I would probably run out and get another one and retest with tomorrow's first urine - DON'T SHOOT ME!!)
Good luck and I hope beta confirms the FRED.

Ale,
Like marya said, it should be out of your system by now. The fact that you didn't use first morning urine could have something to do with the results because the urine wasn't as concentrated. I would really try to stay strong & not do another hpt until AFTER your beta call. If you MUST test again, I'd wait for a couple more days & make sure that you use FMU only.
Good luck! I'll hold my celebratory post until your beta comes in, but I hope & pray that this is most definitely the start of the most wonderful news ever!!!

I think you're pg!!! I have to say that I am the worst with hpts, and think that a faint line is a line is a line. I also don't think it's the trigger.
Okay, truth is I cheated this morning too! I am 6dp5dt and saw a faint line myself! I am one day behind you. I also don't think that it's from the trigger (13 days past). I checked around and people have seen neg at 9 days past trigger.
I hope we are both lucky and get to join Marya on the Oct dd board!!!
