don't understand price of antagon vs dose?

My consult is next Tues, but I wanted to ask about antagon. How can one vial be so expensive (close to $100??). Isn't each syringe one single dose? How many are usually taken in a cycle?? Give me the low-end number of times? Any info appreciated - I'm hoping the doctor's office has some in inventory for a lower price than what's coming up at the pharmacies!!

Anatagon is used to suppress you towards the end of your stims, so that you don't ovulate (similar to Cetrotide). When you start to get close to the day they are going to trigger you, you take Antagon. I think the normal number of shots to do is approx 3 (1 per day), but the actual range is between 2-5 days / shots. Luckily it is not one that you have to have 50 vials of...

I'm doing this from memory from a while ago - hopefully other gals will fill in the details.
