Beta 109 at 15dp5dt - is this normal?

    Hello Everyone,

Im at 15dp5dt of 2 healthy blasts and I just received word that my beta is 109 - my dr said this is def too low for twins and slightly low for a singleton - he wants me to come back for a retest on tues, 3/24 to see if the level increases and by how much. My question is: what is the average level for 15dpt and has anyone started out "slow" but continued on to have a successful pregnancy? Im becoming discouraged...

    Hi Deb,

First Congratulations on your bfp! Second, here is a website that shows beta numbers

Hope that your next beta on Tuesday shows good high numbers.

    Hi Deb,
My first beta on 9dp6dt was at 31, went up to 84 2 days later, then to 201 3 days later then to 1542 4 days later, then to > 2600 2 days later. I am scheduled for an us on Tuesday, but there is hope. Didn't mention that I am spotting throughout that time. It only depends on how ur numbers are increasing. They can start out low for late implanters and go up. If they don't keep increasing, then it is a problem.
    Best of luck.

I don't think it's too low! Besides, I've seen some very low numbers here that turned into success stories. Your more important number is your second beta. You want it to come close to doubling.

It's not too low, so I wouldn't worry about it. I've seen very low numbers that have gone on to successful, full term pregnancies. It really depends on when the embryo(s) implanted & how much hcg they're kicking out!

    Good luck today!!
