How long for hcg trigger to leave the body?

Can anyone remind me how long it takes (approx. of course ) for the trigger shot to leave your system? I only did the one shot 36hrs prior to ER which was on Monday. I know I've seen it posted on here before but I went back a couple pages and couldn't track it down.

    Thanks!

Hi ~ HCG reduces by 1000 unit per day.. so if you have taken 10,000 units shot, it will take 10 days for the HCG to leave your body. However, it is possible for it to be gone earlier..

Pixie- Did you take the ovidrel trigger or the HCG? I've only ever taken the ovidrel and it's usually out of my system by day 8 or so.

I have always done HCG triggers. With my IUIs I used to POAS starting about day 10 just to see and it was always out of my system by then.

Thanks ladies!! I used the HCG trigger and I believe it was the 10,000 unit one (probably a standard dose). I am getting a very faint line already so I suspect I won't be able to detect it in a day or 2 even though I'm sure it will still be there in a minute amount.

    Thanks again for your replies!!

I took 15,000 units of hCG and it was out of my system on day 10.

I thought it would take a few more days since I took 1.5 times the "normal" dose but nope, it was outta my body pretty quickly.
