Question best infertility clinics in Ohio?

What do you all think are the best infertility clinics (and doctors) in Ohio -- especially for the price? I'm happy with the one I've been going to but my husbands wants to shop around. I want to make sure we're not sacrificing quality for a low price. We've been doing IUI and may go to IVF/ICSI soon.

I go to ORM (Ohio Reproductive Medicine) in Columbus, OH. I am very pleased with the Drs and Staff. You can check them out at this website if you like www.ohiorepromed.com

    Best of luck and welcome!

I'm with Reproductive Gynecology in Akron. Very happy with them. They've been incredible through my less-than-ideal outcomes and have a great deal of knowledge and also sensitivity. What I've observed is that if you find a reputable, respected clinic with good stats, the next thing is how well fits with you as a patient. (So take that for what it's worth.)

    Welcome, and best wishes!

I'm familiar with the ones in NE Ohio - where in Ohio are you from?

I am a patient of Dr. Goldfarb at Cleveland Clinic in Beachwood. In 2002, Cleveland Clinic had the highest success rates in the state. I can't comment on 2003-present, for the numbers haven't been released.

I have also heard VERY good things about University Hospitals, Dr. Loret de la Moya (sp?) and I've heard good things about Drs. Nash & Moretuzzo at Reproductive Gynecology in Akron - like tle mentioned.

    welcome rugsypugsy!!!

i also go to reproductive gynocology in akron. i have been going there for many many years now. i am happy with them.

i do advise checking into all of them first, maybe meeting with all the doctors and seeing who you feel comfortable with, finding out their general approach to infertility, some take a very aggressive approach and others take a more laid back approach.

there is also dr. spirtos in akron and dr. collins in youngstown, oh.

i know there is a website where you can check stats on all the clinics in ohio. i do not recall the exact site. many someone can help you find that site.

    Good luck!!!

    Cincinnati clinic

I go to the Institute for Reproductive Health in Cincinnati. I chose it b/c they do the most advanced procedures that are hard to find in this part of the state, and they have good success rates. And Dr. Scheiber is wonderful! Prices seem decent, too.

The website is CDC.gov, type 2002 ART in the search box, then the report should come up.
