February IUI Cycle Buddies Feb 19th-Mar 3rd

Well, I've been avoiding the internet since my appointment yesterday but I figure if I'm going to post this anywhere it might as well be here. Went in on Friday to have my follies measured so they could time the trigger... and nothing. Nothing at all.

I've had cycles like this before, second round of clomid was like this. Nothing. Nada. Not even a tiny underdeveloped follicle. RE apologized that it was her fault, that she shouldn't have lowered my dose but since I had taken a month off she thought it would be alright. Next month we're going back up and if next month I show I'm becoming resistant we're moving on to... I can't remember now... some other drug.

Today has been 14 hours of struggle to not sit in a corner and eat myself into a stupor. Might have actually succeeded in not destroying the good healthy eating I've been sticking to for a few weeks now. Always something good yeah? Spouse handed me a cup of ice cream after dinner and told me not to worry, all the calories were removed so it didn't count, just this once. I didn't plan on taking two months off in a row but it looks like that's what I get. Maybe I'll sign up for boot camp for two more weeks, lose a few more pounds, do a cleanse or something so that the clomid will work.

Finger's crossed for the rest of you in the dreaded 2ww. I'll be back to cheer you on in a couple more days when I dig myself out of my sad little hole I've put myself in today.

I'm so sorry to hear about your cancelled IUI, due to no follies I can only imagine how hard this must've been to hear and take in. That cup of ice cream was definitely calorie-free, and you deserved every bit of it. Hopefully, the boot camp and amazing weight loss will help with getting the Clomid to work for your next cycle
