Felicia: For you I'd suggest you do 3 IUI cycles, and if you don't get pregnant, to ask about injectibles. For us they cost a little over $1000CDN, for a 900IU vial, which was enough for a cycle and a bit. We got coverage last summer/fall for a total of $5000/yr in fertility meds, which got us 3 injectible IUI cycles. Our trigger shot was also covered at that time. Like we always remind each other, it only takes 1 egg, so this could very well be your BFP cycle

Madie: Hope you had a nice outting today - 80 degrees sounds wonderful!!
angelady: Welcome to the board!! You're definitely in good company, with lots of support and advice from the wonderful ladies here
I was wondering what cycle day you're on, so I can add you to the daily chart
Also, you should definitely take your multivitamin (have you thought to take a prenatal vitamin instead though?), but as for the rest, I'm not sure if you should stop or not. If none of the ladies can advise you on that, definitely ask your RE tomorrow at the appt, to make sure. Hope your U/S shows some growing follies!!
~AFM~ Was another day out for us. We were bad this morning, and went out for breakfast, but it was sooooo good. Then we trekked over to another Costco to see if they had the eco-friendly dishwasher tab brand, we'd always bought from them. When that location didn't have it either, sadly we had to buy the FINISH brand tabs. We're bummed. We really liked the other brand, and hate when Costco ups and stops stocking it for something else. After that we went grocery shopping for the few things we need for the week. When we were done there, we headed over to the mall to walk off some of the calories we put on from breakfast, and was it EVER busy!! Numerous times we had to bob and weave through the annoying people that would just up and stop right in front of us LOL On another note, I've had this ache at the base of my index finger, which at first was once in a while. But it seems to have gotten worse these days, even making its way to my wrist aching and sometimes my lower arm aching too. At first I thought it was because I would crack my knuckles - I know, so classy. Or if it was fatigue, because it's the hand I use with my mouse. I know, I need to go see my GP and see what he says, but thought I'd pick your ladies' brains about it. I'm just scared of what's going to be found
Oh the life of an anxiety-ridden person. Also, I started bleeding, but not full flow today. Which is why I'm just going to call tomorrow cd1, and ask for my 'cd3' appt on Friday. YAY...full bladder appt again...can't wait - I'm such a pro at it now.
Anyway, hope everyone had a good Sunday and weekend!! Sending out lots and lots of positivity, baby dust,
and no
to us all!!

Frewty-- I LOVE your wedding picture-- you look beautiful
thanks for making the new thread and keeping us all up to date with our days. sometimes when i forgot what day i'm on- i know exactly where to look to double check
Sounds like you had a nice weekend. I've been to Nigara Falls in Toronto a few times and have enjoyed myself. i'll definitely have to hit up the wineries one day. hopefully not soon though
Welcome to all the new ladies! Sorry for the lack of personals today (aside from frewty). Trying to get some work done, but wanted to hop on here for a few.
AFM-- I'm in a funk and have been for most of the weekend. Friday night was bad. The hormones were kicking and i couldn't figure out what to do to feel comfortable. I wasn't in any physical pain, but just was very uptight, uneasy and blah. I made a good dinner and then didnt want to eat it. i left my poor DH at the dinner table and curled up on the couch. I have also been very short fused the past few days (poor DH again) and have said some mean things towards my DH, in which i later apologized. I think the DH will be happy when I can stop taking Clomid..... ugh.
Went in on Saturday for my follow-up US. Was hoping that the 3 follies were in good shape and that we'd really get a good chance this cycle. well, the one on the left looked good at 17mm. However, the 2 on the right really didnt do anything. The US tech actually said that she though that she saw a small cyst- but not the type caused by Clomid. Then she said- well maybe that's not a cyst. Ughhhh!! I had to wait for her to call the doctor to run things by her. I expressed my concern of my left ovary being the only one that is producing a mature egg (did it last time too). Doc said she wasn't concerned with that and said she has other patients that only ovulate from one side. Then I had a lovely conversation with the andrologist about my DS low numbers last cycle and the need to combine 2 vials. We already knew this and was planning on it, but she still wanted to talk about it. She is wonderful and actually teared up as I teared up discussing the oh so wonderful IF journey. So, not sure what is going on with my right side, but of course i'm afraid that something is wrong with me. Like i said before- i got the all clear through all my tests, but am still scared. also, i keep getting some slight pains on my right side where the follies didn't mature. blockage? issue? me going crazy? I even took an ovulation test because I was afraid that I was going to miss my window and my doc didnt know what she was doing. OPK was negative and things look right on track. I know that I'm only 2 cycles into this journey, but i'm just going through a rough time. Ended up breaking down and having a few drinks last night to try and unwind a bit. sigh....
Scheduled to trigger at 1:30am and my IUI is scheduled for 1:30pm on Tuesday. Please let this work

Angelady - Hello and welcome to the board. As for vitamins, I continue to take all of my vitamins/supplements (multi, b6, fish oil, indol-3-carbinol, red raspberry leaf tea) throughout my cycle. When I am on medication I give up the Vitex. Hope that helps.
Frewty - I hate when Costco stops stocking stuff also...DH and I continue to look for their sweet potato dog treats even though it has been years since they have had them. I recently started making my own laundry detergent and was hoping I could do the same with dishwasher detergent when our current supply runs out. Best of luck with your full bladder appointment. During my ultrasound I was so paranoid that my bladder wasn't going to be full enough or that I was going to have to pee so bad...I filled myself up with fluids and then when they wanted to do the vaginal ultrasound they needed me to go pee, but I had so much water in me that my bladder started filling up again during the vaginal ultrasound, making that one super uncomfortable plus I had to push down on my stomach the whole time so that she could get a good image. Love your new photo...wedding pictures rock!!! BTW - I really liked Touch, it is going to have to be a regularly recorded show.
Stine - Sorry that you are in such a funk...I definitely get like that. Clomid (like birth control) can really mess with our emotions. Hopefully the follie on the left is all you need to get your BFP this cycle.
AFM - I have an AF question for all of you ladies. When do you count cycle day 1? I always have spotting (sometimes for days before my period). I have been told not to count the spotting days as actual AF...but the spotting lasts for so long that sometime I feel like it actually is my period (or is my luteal phase really 15 - 16 days). I have also heard that if actual flow starts after 5pm then I should count cycle day 1 as the following day....does anyone else do this?
Anyway, needless to say I still haven't officially started AF...but spotting is there so it should be soon.

Frewty- I also love your new picture!
Stine- Sorry to hear that you aren't feeling that well.
. Unfortunately our DH's are the one's that take the brunt of our bad days. GROW FOLLIES GROW!
Hozzie- My RE's office considers CD1 your first day with full flow before noon. I have 3 to 5 days of spotting before AF arrived, especially on Clomid. I always have significant cramping with CD1.
Clarity- I was happy to see you on this thread.
*** POSS PREG MENT***
AFM- Sorry I was MIA all weekend. We actually went to our hometown. We had plans to go even before the +. Of course we shared the news with our parents and our close friends. Everyone is thrilled for us... but cautiously excited. Stine- I think it may have been you who asked on the last thread about how DH was feeling about it. Let's just say his reaction has been nothing like I had imagined all of these years. I actually told him that I was hurt by his lack of excitement. He did not want me to tell people about it yet. I understand his reservations, but yet I couldn't hold that information back when so many people have been on this journey with us. God forbid something changed, these would be the same people comforting me. My sister and I talked about it and we decided that he is afraid to get excited for fear that something will happen. I am concerned as well, and I know the statistics; however I CANNOT allow myself to think/worry about that. I have waited too long for this moment and needed to allow myself to be excited and believe that this is IT for us. Today he has actually made a couple cute comments about it. I really have no symptoms to report other than the occasional episodes of mild cramping. I took 2 more tests yesterday and today just to reassure myself that it was still +. I am anxious to get the bloodwork tomorrow. Anyone have any idea how long it takes to get the results? And what am I looking for on this first blood test? Do they test your progesterone levels? Thank you all for your continued positive thoughts. I couldn't have made it through this last year without you all.
Waiting4babies- congrats on your good beta results. I really know nothing about betas but based on your post, you seemed happy with them. So what happens next after the two betas?
***END MENT***
Sending out lots of positive thoughts, BABY DUST, and

P.S. WELCOME TO ALL OF THE NEW LADIES TO THE BOARD! YOU WILL SURELY FIND LOTS OF SUPPORT AND INFORMATION HERE; I KNOW I HAVE.
angellady & hozzie- What's vitex? I'm jumping in on this conversation; hope you don't mind. At my consult last Tuesday I went through all of the things that I have been taking just to make sure my doc was okay with it. (my mom had thought I was taking too much "crap" and didn't need all of it). Anyways, I take adult gummy multivitamins, fish oil, B6, folic acid, baby aspirin. She said it was completely fine to not take pre-natals based on what i was taking. And she said the fish oil was the best choice on my list. I also take fiber pills, zantac, and pro-biotics for my stomach issues which she also said was fine to take.

angelady - I stop taking Vitex with Clomid because I have heard that those two drugs don't play well together...sounds like you are on injectibles so it might be a different situation for you. Maybe other ladies can chime in, or you can ask on the alternative treatment board.
Faith - Thanks for the input on AF cycle day 1...and interesting about flow after day noon being considered the following day. Makes me think I have been starting Clomid too soon. ***Poss preg ment*** Glad you were able to tell your family. I have the same feelings as you regarding telling people about a BFP. My statement has always been "if I am going to tell someone about my infertility/ or (god forbid something worse) then I might as well tell them about an early pregnancy". I don't know about your DH, but mine does a **** good job of hiding his true emotions. So maybe it is just taking him little bit to get used to the idea and get over the shock of everything.***end ment***

Faith - Vitex (chasteberry) is supposed regulate the balance of estrogen and progesterone in the body. Did your RE say anything negative about the baby aspirin? I had been taking it but stopped...maybe I should start again.
