So I am officially in the 2WW. I have a Beta Scheduled for 2/24. When can I start POAS? I feel like I have to resist from buying them or I would try it everyday!

Frewty - Whew...just reading about your day yesterday made me dizzy. I didn't even know that Taco Bell served fries, are they good? If DH and I ever go to Taco Bell we always get the 10 pack of taco's and bean burritos. I think its great that you still have your Christmas decorations up...I love Christmas decor (especially all of the lights). I wouldn't be able to leave mine up though since the thought of looking at them and knowing that I really should pack it all away would drive me crazy. I think my hubby is transferring some of his OCD to me. You had a lot of little stuff going on - it actually sounds like fun. Have fun BD'ing...and at your day 13 appointment. Hopefully you will get your BFP this month.
pangolin - Sorry that you are sick, but glad to hear that it is passing. I think taking time off is great if you can really get out of the TTC headspace...which it sounds like you can. I know that even on our "break" months I always hold out hope that maybe I am pregnant, so now I know that I can't ever really let it go.
JillD - Good luck this cycle!!!
AFM - Well it looks like my vent from earlier was all for nothing. I took 3 more clearblue OPK's and they were all negative. The first 2 urine's were kind of watery but the last one was concentrated so I am pretty sure that the test this morning was a false positive (lovely). This happened to me before, causing me to have a poorly timed IUI...so now I am overly cautious and only go in after I get two positives in one day. That being said, I was worried that maybe (just maybe) I had surged and then it dropped so DH and I did make some time for a little BD'ing this morning. Now I have to finish getting ready so I can head out for my girls night - woo hoo!!!
Question - Is it Clomid that is causing the false positives? I looked online and found a few articles that say that this can happen if you test early (although I don't think cycle day 11 is early). Has this happened to anyone else?

Frewty - thanks for always being so positive. Still no AF, but BFN today. It wasn't morning urine though, I forgot and then drank a lot of tea as usual. If feels really strange to wait for it like this, and not have a little hope something (someone!) is in there. I'm thinking of stopping by the clinic tomorrow and ask for a beta. I haven't because they didn't schedule one, so I wonder if I have to pay extra for it... I just need to know. I am only on CD28, though, so maybe it will arrive tomorrow. My cycles are 27 - 28 days. However, I don't have cramps anymore! I also use these cheap sticks I bought on the internet, but not actually sure they are accurate... Already spent so much on the freakin HPT's!
Hozzi - how frustrating with OPK tests, and scheduling.... When I monitor my LH, I am never certain what's going on... Good that it seems to have been a false negative.
AFM: Waiting for AF - STILL. Got all our Gonal-F meds via mail this morning, and also Crinone
. The meds take up a whole shelf on our fridge! I thought they were good for a year unopened, but it said something about 3 months. I hope that's not true, because I was going to donate it should we not need it all. Feels a little bizarre to be so stocked up on fertility meds, but it was the same price as one month supply would cost should I have used a normal pharmacy.
My late AF is messing up my monitoring schedule. I teach on Mondays and Tuesdays and it will be difficult to schedule in (baseline?) US and blood work. I can't take time off. Plus I'm traveling soon, and have to make sure the IUI happens before that!!Me: 38, RE says perhaps DOR
FHS 11.3 (Dec '11) 8 (Jan '12) 4, 6, 10 and 13.6 (summer /12) AMH 0.68 (Jan '12)

Hello everyone!! I haven't been on FT in a very long time, I just had to get away from all things IF. The last time I was on here I said that we were going to be starting IVF, however, my DH is going to be getting laid off on April 1st, so that is no longer a possibility. I feel like we will never be given the chance to have a family. I must be extremely stressed out about it, because I'm a week in a half late for my period. I had slight spotting, but that's just about it. For a second I allowed myself to think by some miracle I got pregnant naturally, then I had to remind myself that it just wasn't a possibility. She must be ready to rear her ugly head, because I keep feeling some cramps. I have been thinking about all of you everyday and wondering how everyone has been doing. I probably won't check everyday, however, I am going to make more of an effort to check up with everyone.
Faith- I just wanted to say, how truly sorry I am for your loss. I hope when you are able to try again in a few months, it will not be a long journey. HUGSme 27 Dh 28

Again I would like to reiterate: Abnormal sperm are generally incapable of fertilizing an egg.
And even if they do so, the genetic payload is the same as the normal sperm. This is why IVF is done for 0% morphology -- there are NO normal sperms, but there are still normal babies from the abnormal sperms.
I'll be back later with personals, still a little winded from the funeral today.Last edited by SC-Impatient_in_VA; 02-11-2012 at 05:08 PM.

mary: I believe you would be. Impatient had a more accurate response to your questions - hope that helped!!
pangolin: Sorry you've been sick!! Sounds like it was a great time to take a month off, and for you to have some normalcy in your life during that time. It's good not to be habitually stressed out, because of IF, isn't it? Good idea, to hide the HPTs next month, I'm sure it'll help your stress levels. Hope next month is your BFP cycle!!
Jilld: Hope your 2WW flies by!! You can POAS as early as 10dpiui/dpo, but for a more accurate reading, it's best to start 12dpiui/dpo. Hope this is your BFP cycle!!
Hozzi: Sorry reading about my day made you dizzy...you can imagin how I felt, being in it!! LOL The Fries Supreme is only at Canadian Taco Bell locations - which I'm SO glad about. It's my favourite side from there!! That's exactly why I keep my decor up so long after the holidays - for the pretty glow of the lights!! Now the solarium looks so empty and dark
Thanks!! We do our best to make BDing fun
My appt went well too, and we also hope, that we finally get a BFP
Sorry about the OPK confusion - good thing you got in some BDing just in case. Hope you had a good time on your girl's night out!!
Felicia: Well, I don't believe AF is coming, unless I see proof, when it comes to me - I say you go with the same theory
If you do end up getting AF tomorrow or the next day though, at least you'll be able to move on with your next cyle!!
rlo: Sorry to hear about your DH being laid off
Hopefully he'll be able to find something else quickly. Unless AF shows up, you may be preggers - here's hoping!!
~AFM~ Went for my cd13 appt today with DH. U/S was quick - it's amazing how much I love when that happens!! My numbers were as follows:
Right Ovary: 20, 11, 9
Left Ovary: small
ET: 9.7
E2 @ cd11: 474
LH @ cd11: 6
P4 @ cd11: 0.1
So, definitely have one nice and plump follie ready to pop soon
If my cycle is the same as the last, I should surge on cd15, which BW will confirm when we go in Monday. Will definitely need to get some BDing in today, since it's already Sunday at this God forsake hour, when we finally wake up LOL
Once we got home, we had some time to get in some last minute tidying up, before DH's Dad and GF came by. Was nice to see them again, if even for a short time. They left their PC with DH, so he can put the programs she asked for. On Wednesday, they'll be coming back to drop off the other PC they have, so DH can take the stuff off there to put on the newer one they brought today. Since they weren't hear too long, I just offered them some nummy Chocolate Pound Cake, that we bought from the Portuguese bakery. Once they left, DH and I took a nap, because we hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, due to staying up too late - something we do a bit too often. Once we got up, we went to the mall to walk again, as I apparently gained 0.5lbs this week - I was really disappointed
After that we headed over to the grocery store to pick up a few ingredients for the lasagna I want to make tomorrow. We're supposed to visit with my parents during the day, but it's kind of up in the air, so who knows.
Anyway, hope everyone had a great Saturday!! Sending out lots and lots of positivity, baby dust,
and
to us all!!
Time to get to bed...this is ridiculous LOL

So I guess I am not much of a cheerleader when I don't appear on the boards huh??? I can't believe I have missed sooooo much. I am really sorry to hear about everything Faith, just please don't lose hope. It will happen for you, I just know it! As for everyone else well there is way too much I have missed to do personals now. I am going to try to be better at being a leader of the cheer though
. I have been wicked busy between work and being a volunteer tax preparer and more work lol! BUT, I talked to my RE's office in all of this and I am ready to schedule my IVF as soon as I pass another SIS. My first test showed a tiny streak in my uterus which the RE thought might be mucus from the HSG that I had done like 3 days earlier...So, I get to take some awesome mucus reducing meds and redo the test. If test shows something then I get another HSG (with sedation) to try and "fix" whatever is there (remove scar tissue or what not). If the SIS is clean and there is no more streak, that means my tests are all normal (fingers crossed this is the case) and I get my little name put in the magical IVF book!
Since my SIS should be at the end of this month, depending on its normality I will either be having eggies retrieved in Apr or May. (YAY). Its still a long way off but I am just stoked that I have made it through the tests, I have the money set aside to freeze any super awesome embies if we have them, and I might actually have a shot this time, sigh. Well who knows though. Enough about my IVF day dreaming. Sticky Vibes ladies!!! May all of your uterus's be like super glue!!!
