Thanks everyone for your support. I will probably stick around for a bit. Impatient- I did cross paths with a couple ladies. I have been hanging out around the pregnancy boards reading and trying to learn. I guess I just got so used to being here and have grown to really care about you all. As I mentioned before, I know you will all be joining me soon.

Hi everyone, thanks for all of your replies. I am feeling a bit better today after seeing my dr. He assured me I must have a follicle with an egg in order to produce LH.... Is this correct? He was upset the nurse told me otherwise and that although my u/s from day 3 appears similar to day 9 the "cysts" could have vanished and what we r seeing on the u/s are actual follicles. Does this sound right????
Well today's was my 1st iui and dh results were poor with 4.5 total motile sperm and a record low of 18% motility after wash. Talk about devastating after yesterdays panic . I'm hoping for better results tomorrow bc an opk said had a smiley face so it should drop within 48hrs.

BC-Impatient_in_VA - thank you... the Neupogen builds white blood cells its for the NKA, from what i can remember... we had our consult October and im pretty sure thats what it was for... They actually just bumped me down to 10mg of Prednisone... i had a repeat Immune testing done after a CP in January and i was on 10mg at that time... they just told me that the bloodwork came back that everything looked good so i dont need the additional 10... very happy about that... pred sucks lol

ETA: thats not even the full list either... you can only fit so many characters in the signature lol

So I am 6dpiui and have been having AF cramping since Sunday, 3dpiui. Should I be worried about this ? I get shooting pains in my bb's as well. I know alot of ones symptoms comes from the fertiltiy drugs but I didn't have AF cramps last IUI except for the day of the IUI and the day after. This has been continuous since Sunday...

Mary, I'm sorry you had to deal with a nurse that gave you so much anxiety. I had that happen too. I think they must be extra stressed monitoring everyone's cycles at these places. Good you talked to the doctor. Good luck!

AFM: My partner and I missed our injections class this morning and I freaked out. Even threw a shoe across the apartment. This is not like me at all. I tested and got a BFN again this morning + feel AF symptoms. I hope I'll be able to deal with this better next cycle. How will we deal with all the monitoring? Our clinic is unfortunately really difficult to get to from our apt, and I guess we now have to be there every two days... OK, enough complaining.

Hello everyone,
This is my first post I am so overwhelmed to read all your post and it feels good to know that I am not alone. From the bottom of my heart I wish all of you to get pregnant and have your dreams come true.
I had my second iui Sunday January 29th because these seem the 2 longest weeks ever, i have a stash of hpt tests that I take here and there, as of yesterday was negative, being the 9th day it is too early but my hopes are there till the last minute.
We been trying for 3 years and I am 28 now and my husband is 30, our issue is a male factor, doc says that we have a very low chance with iui and we have been to every doctor in NYC. We will be going for ivf if this one does not work but I really hope it does because I am so scared of the whole ivf procedure.
It feels like I have AF symptoms, I am moody, my breasts hurt, very emotional, I feel lower belly cramps but what would I know if there were pregnancy symptoms, it is not like I ever been pregnant...
I wish u all the best of luck, and I am glad I found someone to share this path with...

Hi Rida, welcome and I'm crossing my fingers for you. I'm in a similar situation, I have no idea how it feels to be pregnant! I do think, since I tested BFN today 12dpiui and feel classic AF symptoms, that this is not the cycle for me. I do know about the frustration, and I also live in NYC. Hopefully you have found a good place to go to.

If you want to, share some of your treatment. Do you take meds, do you do back to back IUI's? I wish you all the best.
