    Hi KC

My dh was the one who came up with trying to conceive kids through IUI. I had wanted to adopt knowing that he could never have kids, I did not want to hurt his feelings talking about having kids with a donor. He decided that he would like me to carry a child that would truly be apart of me/ us. So I started all my testing in September and everything came back AOK.. I will not be using medication; however, twins run strongly in my family. I hope you get your twins again. I'll be happy with 1,2,3, whatever god feels that I'm ready for will be a blessing. Qui ;o)

    Hi Qui

That's great dh was on board with IUI. That's so sweet you considered his feelings so did I but dh is such a trooper and is so excited and proud of himself for choosing the donor. we are very happy with our donors background and looks . Glad all testing came back good, I am sure my HSG will come back ok. I would love twin girls since I have twin boys already. But I put it in gods hands. Hope this is our year for BFP and healthy babies.

Where is everyone else? Have a happy new year ladies.
    KC

Hi Ladies........so sorry I have been MIA, Im having all sorts of problems with my lap top!!

Qui...welcome!!! I hope this site will provide all the support and encouragement you are looking for!! I know it has been a great place for me. I have meet sooooooo many wonderful women over the years. Im glad you were able to find a compatible donor. I hope one of those vials will contain the one!!!
I noticed you are in Atlanta!! I'm originally from Atlanta, but live in Texas now. My Dad is still in Georgia, he lives on Lake Lanier, the Buford side. I visit every summer!!! Love Georgia!!!

KC........I tried to reply to you a few days ago, wrote a long reply, but once I hit the send button, it told me I had no internet connection.........I was so mad, I have not been on it since......I hope your cramps are better now!! I will be thinking of you as Friday approaches. Im sure all will be fine. Just remember to take some pain meds before. How did the acupuncture go. I have always wanted to try it, but Im one of those who are terrified of needles...........It's kind of ironic........by trade, Im a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist, worked with needles all day...........I have no problem sticking someone else, but when it comes to me being the one stuck.......forget it!!! Im a big baby!!
As far as taking supplements or herbs, the only thing Im taking is a prenatal. In the beginning, I tried just about everything that was said to help with infertility, none of them worked for me.

    Anglelady..........how are you???

AFM.....currently on CD 15. Not sure if I ovulated this cycle. I really have not paid attention to the usual signs and symptoms!!! I guess I will know the answer in a few weeks.

Hello Bkaupert, thank you so much for welcoming me. I have found great comfort in just talking back and forth with you all. I live on the outskirts south of Atlanta. Been living in Georgia all 29 and 1/2 years. I would never move! ;O)

    Hey Brooke,

Oh my goodness you have had a tough time. Yes these computers are a gift and and curse lol. Sorry to hear you had lap top issues hopefully they are all resolved now. Yes cramps and af are gone now just want this HSG over and done with. Acupuncture is great I go every Friday soon I will start yoga. The needles are not bad every once in a while I get one in a sensitive area like the toes or wrist but it goes away quick. I am taking prenatal, royal jelly, garlic pills, and raspberry leaf tea its good for the womans reproductive system. I get it all from whole foods. I am a vegetarian and may not be getting enough iron so My acupuncturist is going to give me some herbs to help with my lining we'll see if it works, I start those later close to iui. Qui its funny I have been trying to move to Georgia for 5 years hopefully I get there soon I am so sick of expensive NJ. Brook hope you ovulated and it all went well. Oh I quit my job tonight I am so happy I can cycle in peace they really pissed me off. Things happen for a reason and God knows I needed to do that.

How is everyone else doing? Angelady, Qui you ladies ok? This is our year ladies

OMG KC, you sound like me my job is so stressful and I wish I could just quiet. Teaching middle school kids is bad for your health, LOL. I have been applying ever where for a job. I will take a pay cut just to be happy and stress free. Oh, It will happen this year. I told the kids today(because it was their 1st day back from break) Mrs. J is having a stress free year so check your attitude and behavior at the door. ;O) But god knows best and you had to do what you had to done so Congrats at Peace!!!!! Atlanta is a great place to live but the weather has been a little weird lately 65 one day then 45 the next....

    Hey everyone

Ok so one more day before my HSG I am ready to get this done. After that they order my medication and I can order my ds. I have been thinking about this cycle so much I am praying for success my first round. I keep chanting this will not be a stressful cycle lol. My twins are from ivf but if I can help it I will never go that route again I just didn't like how it did my body. I am praying IUI treats me right. Qui we are looking at Gwinnette and Cobb county I've been told gwinette has the better schools please give me your honest opinion.

Qui- I often think about teaching but I know it's a stressful thankless job. You work so hard and it goes unappreciated most of the time. Hopefully the kids will listen to you. I am glad I gave up the job I am at peace and look forward to the next chapter. But for now it's all about my babies. You go girl kickboxing that's great I am starting yoga soon I am trying to decide if I should go Tues nights 6 to 7 or Fridays 10 to 11am. Hmmmm I gotta think about this one lol

    qui- when are you cycling?

Brooke- any symptoms to report? I am rooting for you.

    Good Morning Ladies!!!

KC.....Will be thinking of you tomorrow, I pray the HSG is quick and painless. A step forward in this emotional process. I, too hope IUI will work for you. Like I said in the past, it's just hit or miss. Which makes it sooooooo frustrating. Im having a hard time accepting 3 failed cycles. I thought for sure since we were successful last time, it would be the same this time around.

Qui may be able to answer this better than me, but in my opinion, Gwinnett County is the better choice. My youngest brother went to schools there. Besides the good school programs, the sports programs are wonderful. I miss Georgia, and love being able to go back every year!!

    How old are your girls??

Qui.........my hats off to you!!! There is no way I could teach middle school!!!
**Child ment*** besides our 17 month old, we have a 14 year old daughter, a freshman in High School....I have a hard enough time dealing with one smarty pants, know it all attitude. I could not handle a whole class full of them!!! Kick boxing would be a great way to destress your day!!

ASM.......CD 18, nothing to report. Looking for AF around the 15th. Still not real sure what day O was. Im just glad we were able to get some BD'ing in around that time.

    Hey Ladies,

KC, they are both awesome school systems but Gwinnette would beat out Cobb in my opinion. Kickboxing is so much fun and exciting it is a big stress reliever. I will be starting my cycle next month. Oh I do kickboxing Tues/Thurs 6 to 7, ;O) and let me know how that yoga works out I might take it up next
