    November--On the 2 Week Wait!

    Hi ladies,

I did my 2nd IUI on Monday, Nov. 7. Now, I'm waiting to see if I ovulated (I'll do the bloodwork next Monday to find out), and then am Really waiting to see if I'm pregnant, around the 25th! It's difficult for me not to think about it, especially when I feel these little twinges in my uterus/ovaries area. I'm assuming it's from having multiple follicles in my ovaries. I've also been having a rough time sleeping through the night, and I'm not sure if those are after-effects of the Clomid I took on days 3-7 or the Novarel shot I took on day 13, although I thought that would by out of my system by now!

So, who else in on the 2 week wait and how are you dealing with it?

    Hello,

I am going for my 2nd iui on monday, and I'm already dreading the 2 week wait. After the first iui I got my hopes up so this time I'm gonna try not to think to much about it...hopefully that will be possible. It's hard not to over analyze every little thing...Sending you luck!!

    Bkaupert,
No, I haven't taken a hpt yet (but only because I hadn't bought any)! I may break down and buy one today so I can test first thing in the morning tomorrow. This way my blood test on Monday will hopefully just confirm a positive, fingers crossed!

So have you gotten a + or a - on the tests you took? I hope a +!

Trytryagain, yes I have had the pleasure of seeing a positive!!!! Our first pregnancy was in 2008, but miscarried due to a blighted ovum. 2009 we did 2 IUI cycles, 8 months apart, the second was a success, we have a 15 month old son. We also have a 14 year old daughter that we adopted. My husband wants another child, so do I, but I was not sure I wanted to go through this again. It took us 3 years to have the little one. Im 38, so I figured this may be my last chance. I was lucky to find a clinical trial for unexplained infertility. The cover the costs of 4 cycles. So, Im hoping we will get lucky again!..Let me know if you test before Monday!!! With my son, I started testing 10dpiui, negative......had a dizzy spell the next day, tested again, I was shocked to see a second faint line!!!!

What type of issues are you having? Our diagnosis is advanced maternal age and slight morphology issues

bkaupert--Well, I bought the test, so I'll see what it says tomorrow morning. That will be 13 dpiui, so hopefully that will be pretty accurate. It's wonderful to hear that one of your past IUI's already worked. Gives me hope!
As far as our issues, it's a mixed bag. I have a little endometriosis, 2 fibroids, I'm 34 and my husband has had a few low sperm counts/low motility on different days they tested.

    Well take care!
    And I'll let you know!
