Opening Prayer-

Lord, please grant us a month full of BFP's. Let our doctors, nurses, and technicians make great decisions about our cycles to help your miracle of life bloom in our wombs. Please breathe life into our wombs by clearing any obstacle that my hinder conception. Give us all healthy eggs and sperm that are capable of forming life created in your image. Let them combine to make life within our bodies for those of us undergoing timed intercourse, iui or ivf. May you grant us our ultimate wish to be pregnant with healthy pregnancies and beautiful healthy babies to follow. We ask this in the name of Your son Jesus Christ, Amen!

Month of abundant bfps.

So, I went in to see my F doc regarding a comprehensive SHG feedback.

She said she consulted with other fertility specialists and sub specialist and they reached the agreement that the fibroid in awkwardly position and therefore causing the following-

1. It is impinging on my only tube- she did say that the saline collected in the tube and expelled in the pelvic cavity so the tube may not be so bad.!
2. It has moved my Ovaries out of position so they can not be reached or seen using a the transvirginal probe. Only through the top of my belly.
3. It makes cervix observation challenging...

I asked if i can just take Lupron to shrink the fibroid and and try naturally- and she said they would advice it because Lupron has the capability to suppress ovarian production and that it may take time for my system to recover and the fibroid will grow back in the meantime.

She said the 8cm mass would make any surgery challenging due to the potential risk of blood loss -in fact she kept on using (any attempt on surgery) when my dh probed the choice of language she said -they may go open me up and decide against surgery and for fear of hysterectomy. I am not a candidate for a LAP.

On the brighter side, she said if we decide to do the IVF-they are more likely to do an ABDOMINAL EGG RETRIVAL. Has anyone heard of this before?

She assurred me that I will conceive and that when it happens -the medical team will help me manage the pregnancy.

DH is frowing at the idea of IVF because we just do not have $10K.eact

I now strongly believe that the raging symptoms I had last week may have been from all the chemicals in my body reacting and the leg cramp may be the fibroid or the ovaries sitting on a nerve...This is just my belief.

Does this then mean, that DH boys and my girls are in the opposite side of town and not meeting? WOW

I just a thank God because ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IS IN OUR HANDS OR MY RE;s hand. I look only to him for mercy and favor.

So what do I do.
There is hope in hopeless - therefore, I have to go straight straight to the potter and tell Him that the clay needs his T O U C H.

Isaiah 64:8 says,

I say- Lord, FIX MY REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS O'LORD AND HELP ME CONCEIVE AGAIN. AMEN. :

Fer...CONGRATUATIONS! I tried stalking the post today as much as I could from work, and if you respond to this tonight, we'll all kill you! Rest up and give Myrtle the encouragement she needs to latch on tight and stay put! My RE doesn't schedule a beta unless I'm 14dpiui without AF, and then I can (typically) get in same day. I'm going to POAS for the 1st time next Wednesday (12dp), although if I'm not crazy at that point, I may wait it out to 14dpiui. We'll see!

Peaches...B/c of the trigger-induced O, I believe that you're cycle will be shrt this month. A typical LP is 12-14 days, so it sounds like you're in the window. Did you POAS yet? Try tomorrow morning! Otherwise only time will tell at this point if it's AF or a BFP...OBVIOUSLY hoping for the latter!

Cagu...I'm sorry your appt didn't bring you better news and a clearer path. I'm praying for you and the choices that you, DH and your RE will be making to continue your journey.

Trying&hoping...I had my 4th acu appt yesterday and highly recommend it! I've read about all of the benefits although I'm still not sure I get it, but at the very least it's some "me" time during the week where I am 100% relaxed...not sleeping, but my mind is blank and I feel so refreshed for days afterwards! Good luck and let us know what you think!

Cagu, I have something similiar. My ovaries float away before I ovulate. By the time of my ER, my right ovary had floated far away where the RE had a hard time locating it to retrieve the eggs. So that explained why iui wasn't working for me. My tubes couldn't find the ovaries to catch the eggs. Sounds like you are in a good place mentally we just need God to make a way financially for you to have ivf.

God, cagu need you to be her Jehovah Jireh right now. You've given her the peace of your Holy Spirit, and now she needs a financial blessing from you. Lord, please make a way

Lynn - Amen. While I do not not many verses by heart, I do try to remember Romans 8:28 each day: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Cagu - I have not heard of the abdominal egg retrieval, but it sounds like a good (and maybe even less painful?) option. I'm thankful that she is sure you will conceive and will help you get through your pregnancy. If IVF is the only way you can get pregnant, be patient - God will open a door for you to be able to afford it.

Happy Friday all! I couldn't be more ready for this weekend... GA, may the best team win tomorrow I am trying to stay positive about my Tigers b/c I don't want to be a fair weather fan but tomorrow is going to show us what kind of talent we REALLY have!

DH and I are on an honest to goodness break from all of this IF stuff. No temps, no OPK's, no timed intercourse every other day on days 10-18 (unless we just want to). It has been a nice break for my mind and body... Just finished filling out what felt like hours of paperwork for the RE we are seeing in a few weeks. Now I can officially not think about it for a while, if that is possible

I can't wait to read about good news on this board in the month of October, hopefully it will bring us some more BFP's. Praying for all of you ladies!
