Anyone doing IUI on/around 9/24?

I had my 2nd IUI this morning and am beginning that lovely 2ww. Is there anyone else who has had or is going to have one around the same time who would like to go thru the waiting period together???

Smile I'm right along with you!!

Hi!!

This is my first IUI. I triggered 10:30pm on the 23rd. My IUI was 10:30am in the 25th. Today is the 27th, can't say I feel any differently. So far no cramps. Just trying to relax and stay positive. Currently sitting beach side enjoying the waves. Keep me posted on how you're doing.

Hi, Love! Thanks for responding! It makes it so much easier to endure the 2ww when you have someone to go thru it with. Glad you and I are only a day apart!

Last month was my 1st IUI cycle and this one has been completely different, so I'm second-guessing everything. Last time I had ridiculous swelling/pressure from the meds and trigger. None this time. Last time I was cramp-free. This time I have twinges of pain, etc. But from what I've been told, no 2 cycles will ever be the same and so I just need to focus on my faith in my RE and wait it out.

I hope you remain cramp-free and relaxed during this cycle and find activities to keep you occupied! A day at the beach sounds perfect (it's clear and hot here today, so I can only imagine that you're having a great day)! I made the mistake last time of not staying busy (b/c I was trying to relax) and drove myself crazy counting down the days until I could POAS. I have a much better game plan this time and am treating myelf to 2 activities each week: haircut and accupuncture, pedi and massage. Hopefully having these other "things" will give me something to look forward to OTHER than testing!

Looking forward to hearing more about how you're doing as we move forward! Even if you just need to vent, feel free...we've all done it! Enjoy the rest of your day!

Hi ladies! I just had my IUI this morning. We triggered Friday night at 10 and had IUI at 10:40 this morning. I too am anxiously awaiting til I can poas. I have some clotting issues so I'll be starting Lovenox for the first time tonight. I am kind of nervous to be on that but I have had 2 miscarriages so I am hoping that this is what I need to make my pregnancy work. I have done IVF for both of my pregnancies but we have no frozen embryos left and wanted to give IUI a try again with the Lovenox.

Every cycle definitely is different and I wish you both the best of luck. I hope we all get our bfp this cycle=)

Lila...So glad you've joined us! Clearly you can get pg, so I'm hoping along with you that the Lenovex does the trick and your little bean stays put!

waiting it out too

I did the trigger thursday and had IUI saturday morning the 26th. Also trying to keep my mind off the time. I go in on Friday for a progestine test guessing to see how well I O'd. I had 1 16mm several 14's and several 10-12 RE was scared of multiples but we told are chances. I hate the waiting. This is my first IUI for my second child. I did 2 IUI's is 2007 to get my daughter but like you said no two are alike. I had to take more injections this time. Me and my dh went and had a date night saturday rented a hotel room and just relaxed and and hopefully increased our chances.

Lizzy...Happy you've joined us! Love the idea of your date night and glad you got to spend some quality alone time with DH!

So, I started to experience my first post-IUI symptoms today. My temp skyrocketed so I've been sweating all day and my b**bs are slightly tender and a little fuller (which is a + for me!). Or maybe the b**bs aren't post-iui symptoms but rather a result of the massive amount of food I've eaten while resting on the couch all weekend! You'll learn that I tend to err on the side of caution, but I think I'm going to start exercising again tomorrow b/c I'm bored silly! I've given up running altogether thru this process but still like to get a good hard walk in 5 or 6 days a week. Obviously I'm not going to go full steam ahead, but I think it would be okay to walk a mile or 2 at a slower pace 3 or 4 days a week. Any thoughts? Had anyone been given guidance about what to do or not do?

Looking forward to getting to know everyone better as we get thru this 2ww! Have a great week!

I'm not really feeling any different yet but with my first pregnancy i didn't have the normal signs. The IUI was slightly painful and had discomfort most of the day Saturaday. My dh wants me to take it easy and the RE was afriad of overstim and said not to do anything with lifting or excisering. But I can't just sit around i'll go nuts. Today going to balance check book and pay some bills maybe go to the store. I have a baby shower to go this weekend. what meds did you guys use. I used follistim

I'm on a combo of Follistim, Menopur and Estrace (to thicken the lining). I permanently take Metformin...I haven't been Dx with PCOS but I apparently have quite a few similar symptoms which had previously made me annovulatory. My RE did the IUI under u/s this time b/c I previously had a closed cervix due to scar tissue and (although he's opened it), the opening has started to narrow again. This IUI was definitely more painful b/c my RE had to force his way thru (thank god for pain meds), so my post-procedure cramping was totally different this time. The good news is that we could see that DH's swimmers were deposited in the precise location. I feel like we did absolutely everything we could do this round to ensure success, so if it doesn't work, I think I might just prefer to head on to IVF rather than try IUI again. Remaining positive though and praying daily for that BFP!

Lizzy...Enjoy your day! It's sad that we resort to normally painful tasks just to occupy our time -- you're paying bills, I've thought about starting to get organized for taxes already! Thanks for the advice as well. Maybe instead of 2 miles I'll stick to 1...as you can see I have a big dog that makes life miserable if she doesn't get enough exercise!

Hi Love and Lila!

I took clomid cycle days 3-7, gonal f days 6, 8, and 10, and ovidrel on day 11. I have stopped running too. I have been walking for about 45 mins a day but I am not going to walk until Wednesday. I want to take a couple days off and relax to try to help these little sperm and egg along;-)

How are you ladies feeling. I am feeling fine, just a little bored. I have a little cramping but I it's from the meds b/c it was there before the IUI. I figure if I have a little cramping at 5dpIUI I will be happy b/c it could be implantation.

Babydust to all of us=) I hope you both are feeling great!!!!!
