    Anyone use Puregon?

I was just wondering if anyone else is using puregon? What are your experiences with it? Do you inject it in your stomach?

I am not new to IF, but this in my first IUI...I have my first shot tonight of 75units... I have been petrified of this drug since I over stimulated on it for IVF yrs ago (worst pain I have ever felt)

I am really hoping for some follicle growth on my left side since I only have one tube

Hey there, I've used puregon for two iui's. The needle is very fine and I give it in my stomach as directed by my RE. I usually pinch the skin and then I don't feel the needle going in. I haven't had any issue with too many follicles, quite the opposite, I have only had one ripe follicle each cycle -- kind of depressing, since I should be able to do that on my own!

    Good luck with your cycle.

I've used Puregon for 3 cycles, it's pretty simple for injection. I always take it out of the fridge about 20 minutes before I do the injection so it won't sting quite so much and I started icing my tummy just below the belly button with this cycle. I didn't once feel the injection.
