Help!!!!!!!!!! I need an intervention

I am only 9 and 10dpiui. But my (*) (*) are now KILLING me. I have gone from nipple soreness to major achey pain overnight.
I am getting my hopes up and really don't want too. I know that sounds weird but this is our last attempt so if it doesn't work I will be majorly depressed, if I get my hopes up I will be worse.
I KNOW it is too early to test but I have to go to the drug store today and I know those tests will be calling my name. I didn't buy any so I wouldn't be tempted but......
Please guys remind me this means nothing and tell me not to test.

Beth- try to hang it there. My advice- DO NOT TEST. You don't want to get a false neg. and then be depressed...this is such a crucial time for you...I mean...I know if you are preg.- then you are preg. and if you are not- then you are not...BUT...stress does effect things in strange ways...so I just wouldn't. Keep hoping and praying.

Just wait 2 or 3 days more Beth. I sure hope all that u are experiencing is a good sign, but we IF gals need to be careful building up our hopes. That way when you do see a BFP, we can just celebrate !!!!!! Just a few more days.............

I called a girlfriend and we are going to go out for lunch so that should get me thinking about something else.

You know better than anyone here that the stick will only raise more questions than answers at this point. There is nothing to be gained.

Maybe if you can just stretch the lunch out for three or four days you'll be in the clear. Eat slow.

Absolutely echoing DH and others...don't test yet!! Way too early. If it's positive, you won't know if it's because of the drugs. If it's negative, you won't know if it's too early. Definitely wait at least 2 more days if you do decide to give in and HPT. 3-4 days is even better for an accurate negative. Don't want to waste the HPT $$!! They make enough off of them as it is.

I have a slightly different opinion. You have invested so much, physically and emotionally, in this cycle. I don't see the harm in taking a test on or after d10piui. Sure, it might still be - (and be + later) but you know about that possibility. And if it is faintly +, that is a really good sign. And you do have that unusual symptom this time around, so ... go for it, I say.

I think on each of my IUIs, I started testing around d10piui (except the last one but I was on progesterone). Of course, the P4 supposedly stops af, but I dont think it affects the HPT. So, if it is really driving you crazy and driving your stress hormones up, go ahead and test. We won't tell anyone. Or, better yet, can you ask for a beta on d12piui? That is what I am doing this mo. She told me she only didn't order the beta b4 because of the cost, but I think it is definitely worth it!

Kate has a good point, but if it is + it may still be the trigger, just know if you do test - it is a committment of several days of testing..... if it is positive, you need to make you it is you and not the Hcg - if it is neg, you might still get a positive later.... either way it is a wait and see, so I would wait and see! (This coming from somebody who started testing 8dpiui, but it is easier to tell you what to do than actually to have me do it..... so I know how you feel girl!!!)
