So Confused?? Sorry Long

Okay, I posted this on the TWW thread as well. I am so confused right now. I had my forth iui done on March 11 and think I may have o'd on the 12th. I had quite a bit of cramping on and off for several days, and thought that maybe it was implantation!!

So tonight I stopped and bought a package of First Responses and took one as soon as I got home. Of course it was -. I am feeling so down right now, I do not know what to do!!

This was our last iui (which none have taken) and been through 2 IVF's (both ended in m/c) and one FT (which did not work either). If this cycle did not work, then it is back to IVF. I just do not understand what is going on!!

I have PCOS and had ovarian drilling done in December, and still nothing!

How do we keep going through this month after month?

I am so sorry for your pain. This is a difficult process to say the least. I have been asking myself the same question all day how do we keep doing this month after month. My husband and I decided after 6mo of IUI w/inject that this is our last month. We did not do IVF and it is not an option for us. We are confused as well and don't ever seem to find the answers we are looking for. I wish you all the best. I hope very much that your dreams come true very soon.

I am thinking just like you. I am not sure what to do month to month. We have just been riding the roller coaster as it goes, but maybe we should do something different, or just throw in the towel...... The only thing that keeps me going is the prize at the end, and that is what keeps us going. I don't know the answer to your questions, but wanted you to know somebody understands..........

Hi mme:

You and I had IUIs on the same day. We both had a lot of follies. I am also feeling down and not very hopeful and had a neg HPT this AM. I am waiitng to see if AF arrives or if I will make it to my beta on Wed. There is still a chance that we are implanting late, but I am not too hopeful either.

So...I don't know why to say except, I hear you and I understand!

Hi MME and Micol-
I also had my IUI's on 3/11 & 3/12. I have not taken a HPT yet, but think about it all the time! I am trying to wait 'til Friday. It is still early for all 3 of us!
I hear you though- I think I haven't tested is because I am afraid and tired of the disappointment.
Hang in there!

Girls, I really do think it's early for you 3 to be testing. First response is not 99% accurate at 4 days before a missed period and lots of women on this board have reported getting neg with it and then + beta's. Don't give up! Lots of babydust to all.

I know that we are testing too soon, but it is so hard not to It is such a struggle. I go for my beta on Friday am, but always like to have an idea before hand.

MRS31 md- please let me know how your beta turns out tomorrow!! Please think positive (I know easier said then done) but with any luck it took!!

Darlene- I too go on Friday, so I will be looking for your post...I am glad to hear that you are stong enough to hang in there!!

Kris7- We think on the same path, I would've thought that was my writing if your name was not there.

Keri- I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!! I wish you the best of luck, please keep us posted as to your results and future plans.

I think if you want to HPT, you should do it one or two days before the beta, not earlier, or it's really kinda a waste.

Thanks for the good wishes.

I am one of those HPT addicts. This month I actually tested a few times early after IUI just to see that the Hcg was really in my system and then watch it go away. It helps pass the time of this dreadful 2ww and now I feel more mentally prepared for the BFN potential knowing it was neg yesterday. Maybe I am crazy but you know what this process does to your sanity...

Each time AF has arrived 11dpiui and 1 day before beta so I have been dreading going to the bathroom all day today. Except I am trying to good about drinking water...so...
Anyway she is not here yet!

Good job holding out, Darlene and Fran, y'all are much more patient than I am.

Mme good luck Friday!!

Finger crossed for all of us on this journey...or as you put well, this crazy roller coaster ride...

Micol
