I had my IUI on February 14th and started progesterone suppositories on the 15th. This morning, I went to my doctor to have my progesterone level checked. They just called and said they would like to see my progesterone level at 20 and it is at 15. I will now do 1 suppository in the morning and 2 at night. They said that at least it is over 10.
Have any of you had any success with your progesterone being kind of low?
Thanks!

Hi -
The progesterone question seems to come up a lot. Our doctor also said about 20 is a minimum level.
Just my opinion, but it seems that the majority of women here are prescribed progesterone supplements in some form or another, even if their levels aren't proven to be low. We haven't had to take it (level after last IUI was about 40), but I assume most people are responsive to the supplements and are successful at getting their levels up since it seems to be a very common part of IUI therapy.
Good luck.
